Is the Asmus Toys Lord of the Rings Witch-king Figure worth it?
I bided for the Asmus Toys Witch-king Figure on eBay and got really lucky. I won the auction by only $5.
The price is pretty high however but is it worth it? I know that this figure is really hard to get and really rare. It's going to cost me exactly $525.48 CAD with shipping included. Am I paying too much or should I jump on this opportunity? How much was the figure worth when it orginally came out? I know that really rare items tend to increase in price. I hope that I made the right choice of biding for it but is it really worth it? Thanks. https://www.collectors.com/action-it...86832574826513 |
Hard to say honestly. The 1/6 scale market can be pretty harsh. But sometimes stuff never goes up in value. Other times it goes thru the roof. It really comes down to what you want. If it is for you and you are happy to have it then all is good. If you are looking for an investment , like any investment , you can always end up loosing money. I have a very limited 1/6 scale collection, but it is for things I really love. I have the Hot Toys Crow figure, The Hot Toys 1989 Keaton Batman and the big purchase the 1989 1/6 scale Tim Burton/ Keaton Batmobile.
I also have the Avengers Fury, Hawkeye, Widow and Coulson Hot Toys , but I called it quits after that and went back to 6 inch figures. |
