Scare Glow
4 Attachment(s)
I picked up glow in the dark paint with mass market Scare Glow so I can make his non-skull bones glow for a fraction of the SDCC version’s cost. It took so many coats. Although I didn’t try to even out his odd skeletal proportions, I added his patellas & several phalanges. Shading was added inside his jaw. The metallic purple bits got silver detailing to match the cartoon. In addition to GITD green, I gave his halberd extra vibrant metallic green over the more subtle factory paint on the sharp bits. I snipped out that vestigial triangle betwixt his cloak & clasp cord.
The GITD paint worked! Even after following the tips & using two cameras, however, I couldn’t produce a worthwhile shot. Sorry. More info & photos at my signature blog, |
Nice work! I've been thinking of messing with the retail release of him.
