I don't understand why Hot Toys doesn't do their suits like this. Their Dark Knight can't even move. I would take articulation over a rubber accurate suit any day

Because Hot Toys makes their figures as close to having the real person inside the suit on your shelf as they can, which means that they can't cut in extra articulation, even if it would help with posing. With their eerie level of accuracy, I'm surprised Hot Toys still gives us visible wrist joints on their ungloved figures haha.

The cowl of both suits look terrible. They close around Bale's mouth too much and make it seem like he's constantly puckering up. And the way they connect the lines to the ears make the forehead look weird as well. I much prefer the Begins suit though, it's armored but simple. The Dark Knight suit is just a little busy as well as hiding the bat symbol.

Looks a lot more high-tech and armored than the 1st one. Either way, no doubt it will be a great toy.

Bruce wears the Begins suit in the first Batman scene or so, if I remember correctly. He upgrades because even he realizes the cowl sucks, plus the wants better armor.
