I don't have the slightest memory. Probably some star wars junk.

I do remember my first transformers were Prowl and Ironhide.

My first Heman was some dinosaur themed Heman and Skeletor. They're also the last and only Heman I had.

First Ninja Turtle was Donatello.

First G2 was Scrapper.

First Marvel character was Toybiz' first Tigerstripe Wolverine (Version 2, I think?)

First Beast Wars was Dinobot.

First DCUC was Harley Quinn.

1980:
Han Solo (Hoth Gear) or
Lobot (Cloud City)
Around that time I also got MOTU Beast Man and Mer Man. Neither one came with their gear.

When I was a child I had a fear of action figures that had beards or mustaches. I would hide those GI Joes or use 'em as dead bodies.

I've had a beard for like 10 years now.

My first was the DC superheroes Flash. He was made by toy biz and I remember he had a knob on his back you could wind up and his arms would pump really fast. I think I got him in the late 80's. Damn I'm old!

I'm not sure, I mean if we're talking very first toy, it'd be some Fisherprice thing or a teddy bear. I do remember my first steel Tonka Dump Truck! That thing was a beast, first g1 was optimus prime, had ghosbusters, tmnt,gi joes. First ML was cyclops, First MU was punisher and ironman series 1.

I feel old now .

My fist figures I remember having were a few handed down MEGO toys, followed by He-Man, Super Powers, and Secret Wars (not really sure what order).

My first MU figures were Spidey, Silver Surfer, Daredevil, and Punisher.

That's hard to say. I think the first were Captain America and Dr. Doom from early 90's Marvel line but I was really young so I don't remember. The first one I picked out myself was probably either a orange ninja looking G.I. Joe or Cyclops with the light up eyes and X-Factor uniform from the 90's X-Men line.

First Marvel Universe figure was Red Hulk but I also bought Hobgoblin at the same time.

First Star Wars figure to collect was Bastlia but I do remember buying an Obi-Wan figure when the Phantom Menace came out.

First Transformers figure was a Dinobot. I think it was the Triceratops one.

First Gundam figure was the Char Zaku II from the US MSIA line.

Well, if they count, it would be G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron. What was that, 84? If those don't classify as action figures, MOTU He-Man and Skeletor.

I was a kid, we played the shit out of those toys..to pieces

Amen to the "played the shit out of". My He-Man's arm eventually got so loose it could never be re-attached.

I'm strictly guessing at this point because I don't remember exactly what the first figure was, but I can tell you that my first figures were Ninja Turtles and figures from the first Batman movie.
