for those of you who purchase your stuff online, or trade and sell online, post your "I hate USPS" storys here. I'll start

Today, I am waiting for a package to arrive. in this Package is the Mandarin from Iron Man 2. I was able to actually barter a cheap price for this gem that isnt even out by normal standards from a reputable dealer I've worked with before.
So today, it was ment to arrive. USPS.com says its out for delivery. Even now, near 7pm, it says out for Delivery. This would mean somthing if the mail didnt already come today.
I call them up, all they say is "Call Back Tomorrow".
This is just one of a million reasons why I hate USPS. Like when they dont come to our house on a regular day. I know they dont cause I have Netflix sticking out of the mailbox wanting to get shipped out!

I hate the people at the local USPS. This lady always gives me shit.

That is why I drive to the next town where the USPS guy is a LOT nicer and faster.

BUT I wish it were easier and faster.

I recently bought an AFA Transformer. It arrived totally damaged, but was insured for the full amount by the seller.

Last week I got a letter from USPS saying my insurance claim was denied!

I just sent out my appeal today, so if I don't win, I will hate them!

Basically, because the box didn't have any physical damage, they refused the claim. The Transformer was damaged due to shaking, not crushing.

So I had to put together an appeal, so I hope it gets overturned, because I can't take such a loss.

I just checked my tracking. says a notice was left at 5:55 that they attempted to deliver. Utter BS. I have no notice on my front door, or in the mail I got today. So Now I get to go in there and raise a ruckus in person. oh joy. and I know they didnt knock on my front door, cause my dogs would have gone nuts, and I was home all day. I went to the door eveyr time the dogs barked today. I hate USPS

That's when they will tell you that your mail is on a truck that's out on delivery!

My mail lady hardly ever takes the mail from my mail box. She'll just open it up, cram in all the mail and move along. Doesn't even look to see if there's anything going out. I've confronted her multiple times about it and every time she says that she was on vacation that day, or she was on another route and it wasn't her that delivered to me that day. One time I told her I thought that she had the best job on the planet; one where she could take all the vacation days she wanted. She didn't appreciate that comment. Oh well.

There was also one time when I went to the post office to mail some packages. I grabbed some mailing labels but all the pens were gone so I couldn't fill the labels out until I got up to the counter. When I finally get up there I ask to borrow a pen and the lady behind the counter starts giving me the nastiest attitude, like I just insulted her children or something. She starts mumbling under her breath so I ask her if there's a problem with me asking to use a pen. She tells me that everyone had been asking to borrow a pen and she was getting sick of it. WTF??!!! She then says I can't mail my packages because the labels aren't filled in. Yeah, bitch. That's why I need to borrow a pen!!!!! When I was all done I literally apologized for causing her such trouble and promised to always carry a pen on me. I lied. If I ever see her again I'm so going to ask for a pen again.

I had bought a prop replica from a message board, the guy shipped it with UPS, and I wait. I check the tracking, and wait. It's delivered! I come home from work and no box. I check my neighbors and nothing. I contact the seller who contacted UPS. Apparently they left it at the wrong house. Thankfully they got it back and delivered it correctly, but it took over a month. This is an expensive prop that I've wanted for over a decade, so while it worked out in the end, I was freaking out the whole time.

I hate USPS because they always and I mean always leave packages on the porch without ringing the bell. At least UPS drops the package on the porch, rings the bell one time and even says "UPS!" before leaving. With the USPS they don't let you know squat, and recently I was in the house all day but I usually exit through the back of my condo because that is where I park the car. If I had not been walking the dog at 8pm that night and came around to the front I would never have seen the freaking package. In this day and age you shouldn't just leave a package on someone's door step in plain sight for all to see especially in a Condominium community where there is a lot of movement. I see UPS drop items off to other people in my community the same way and in easy to read boxes from Verizon, Sprint, Dell, HP, Amazon, Ebay etc etc. So if I was a thief I could pretty much guess that boxes with that kind of labeling more then likely has something cool and probably expensive in them, like laptops, cell phones etc and I could just casually walk by scoop them up and keep going. Even FedEx rings the freaking door bell....why USPS, whyyyyyyyy!?

We hate USPS because they'll leave packages wherever they feel like it. At our door,at the apartment office or they'll shove it in our mailbox.

my carrier is pretty cool, i let her know when i'm getting a package delivered and ask her if she wouldn't mind leaving it at my doorstep instead of leaving a slip. so far it's been great. you'd be surprised what a bit of polite chit chat might do.

Been waiting for a DSLR camera I traded for for 1.5 weeks. the package went from CA to GA, to TN, to IL... hopefully it'll get to me in WI soon, lol
And the package that I sent him, the day AFTER he sent me my package, got there after 3 days...
