Does anyone know exactly why FedEx shipping takes so long? From PA to VA takes 5 business days, 7 including weekends. I just don't get it.

It's fedex smartpost so it gets delivered to your Post office and they deliver locally...

Now they may slowly make their way here as per HTS shipping, but for being able to apply the 10% discount AND get them shipped before some bbts did, I'm perfectly happy with spending $35 total on these 2 packs!
See, $35 is completely reasonable for both packs with shipping. It's the kind of price you should be able to pay if you're paying early and buying multiples.

I ordered mine last week, Quicksilver/Wonderman, I should be getting them in the mail soon. I was able to use the discount code and the free ship over 50. Not sure why it didn't work for you guys...

The NYCC2011 code ended last week. Hasbro confirmed that with me. That would be why.

Got mine just now!
BBTS really came through this time- four excellent figs with immaculate paint apps!
The new DD and Bullseye rock and Wonder man and Quicksilver are all I would have hoped for!

Pics soon (just got in)

Must...not...ship...pile of loot! If you keep talking these up like that I'm going to end up paying the shipping on these instead of waiting for the next wave of single packs to come out so they can have "shipping buddies".

Bullseye come with what looks to be a desert eagle which stores in a leg holster, and some small ninja-ish throwing knife- which has it's own sheath in the back of his belt!
DD has awesome billy club that comes apart into two parts and stores in his leg holster (perfectly righ with the comics)!

Both have amazing head sculpts...and rocker ankles!

Bullseye's face iss...perfect.

Wondey/Pietro review in a minute!

I remember once good ol' Target fucked up. They sold these TF animated sets for 4.50 instead of 27.50. Somebody on high must have put in the the discount as the actual price, needless to say I nabbed Sunstrom, and Shockwave... Did I mention they came with small versions of Bumblebee and Ratchet?

Has anyone found the QS/WM and DD/BE comic packs at a brick and mortar retail outlet like Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R' Us, or the like? I know specialty comic shops have them and some e-bay and internet sellers have them, but they are significantly marked up.

Has anyone bought one at a store like those mentioned above for the retail price of $15-$18? If so, when and where?

I'm in the Kansas City metro area, and while I haven't been hunting with great diligence, I have not seen or heard of any appearances of these packs at area stores.

I had no problem finding PM/IF, CB/SM, and even found a few DP/TM packs. What gives?

Last I heard on here they were at Fred Meyer's which is a store in the NW area to have them regarding mortar brick non LCS.

Found the DD/BE and QS/WM comic packs - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com

But I have yet to see them at my local Freddy's.

Whatttt!!!!! They haven't shown their faces at retail here in the Sacramento area, I was beginning to think they were on lost wave status ala Mandarin from IM2

i think this comic pack is quite late to be distribute for retails store, since i heard and saw at the first time only online stores had them early. Thanos and friends also the same, maybe just a few of them we can see in retail stores, but i already got my warlock frm ebay (win by bidding) and still thinking want to buy and keep it for MOC or not

That's funny because I posted a little while back that I found the IM2 Mandarin at HEB also and bought two of them because they had a coupon for buy one marvel fig get one free. Yea, being a Texan I love my HEB. It's also great cuz my wife gets to grocery shop while I toy hunt...win/win!

I've heard reports about it, but not from the big chains.

Have Albertson's been known to get MU? I've never checked. I did however find the Iron Fist/Spidey series at HEB for about $13 too like the day after they hit HTS. And most of the new series whenever they hit as well as the Mandarin wave. For cheap

One Albertson's of about 20 I've checked out here carried both 2-packs and the IM2 wave. I was able to get the entire Mandarin wave twice there, though at 12.99 a piece.

I did once pull the Dark Spider-Man/Wolverine 2-pack from that one for exactly $1, but it was a complete glitch, none of the others ever came up that way.
