The top half was easy to find, but the bottom half is this sort of rumpled purple with a bow-shape in the belt-buckle region that has worn off. Looks sort of like a California Raisin, but I don't think they had articulated waists.

The legs were hollow, but I filled them with glue to see if I could help him stand up. I assume the 'collar' above the molded part is where some other part would hook into the top of the figure. Maybe it's a Humpty Dumpty figure? The foot came off and revealed a stump, but I glued that too. I wish I had taken more pictures before I did that. I was just really happy to find these two pieces that went together so well.

Does anyone have an idea where the original legs might come from?

Hello.

Does the label on the bottom of your foot say Made in Korea?

Yes, it does. Well, it DID, but I messed it up when I was trying to get the figure to stand up. He's now glued to a base.

Wait a tick. I think I found it.

Ebay: Vintage California Raisin Soft Vinyl Figure w/ Trumpet MADE IN [Product (I can't link to it.)

I swear, the first time I was doing this, I didn't find a single 'soft' California Raisin figure.
