Reading people's posts in here gets you to see how fucked up the distribution of this line really is.

Word! I never seen Thor wave 2, or anything newer then the WWH line, some of the older lines, never even came here, never saw Galactus, or the Gigantic battles. Luckily there is a small comic shop which orders some stuff.... but hardly anything in in the line of MU... was able to get SDCC stuff, got me a thor, still need to pick up the Cap and Spidey figure they have. He does have 2 stretch strike venoms though! least last week he had 2, get paid next week and if I can swing it will pick both up, 1 for myself and 1 for trades.

I'd definitely take a stretch strike.. one of the few things I can't get/find

But I can't believe people are listing Deadpool/Taskmaster, Jean Grey, or Warpath variant as rarest figures!

Those are ones I still see from time to time. I even returned a Jean Grey in package because I seen several more. Seen DP/Task just yesterday morning in Wal-Mart here. I'll happily trade up for a Stretch Strike though!

Manadarin is impossible to find -either online retail or otherwise. You occasionally see one for sale on ebay for $40 (incomplete!) but an in package figure at retail prices is the golden goose. Hasbro blew it huge numbers of MU Iron Man figures, then IM 2 figures that were virtually identical, not to mention the Target exclusives that seem to always throw in an IM figure! Even if it isn't MU, this one deserves consideration.

Went to tru today and they took a case out of the back after I asked if there were any more besides the two bucky and one ghostrider. Was rewarded with series one torch, cyclops, cable w/o hope, thanos and apocolypse. Anyone looking to trade me for thanos or apocolypse let me know.

WWH Wave just hit retail here in Canadian packaging. If you see anything past the WWH wave, good chance its American packaging and a shipping error. So regaurdless of how funds are, you buy them then and there.

Fellow Arkers, I seem to have stumbled upon one of those rare MU figures...not sure HOW rare but I am sure it has some rarity.
Was browsing my local walmart's weak MU supply today and I see this gem.

I even walked into target today and got wave 14. I guess the toy gods are smiling on me. I feel bad for all the dudes in the heavily scalped/lots of collector areas.
I'm in the same city that you are, and I find it to be impossible to find the new waves unless I just have amazing timing, or I waste a ridiculous amount of time, money, and energy looking for them. I've slowed down on my collecting of MU, but won't stop. That Dr. Strange has a spot waiting for it in my collection.

That thing is rough, whoever pulled off a return like that was in a hurry or just didn't give a #$%*. I think I remember that Destroyer from the Burger King happy meal toys, but it might be the actual Thor toy line figure? I don't know, you tell me.

People are probably referring to the regular W6(?) Warpath. It would make since he's one of the rarest on the list. He only shipped alongside the regular Vision. Their rarity should be equal, as should the variants AA and Havok.

I've already got cable without hope. Plus, she kind of looks like a quarter machine toy. Thanks for the offer though.

Damn, man. That sucks. I just walk into stores and they're usually there. Are you looking for the variant or the normal colored one?

To clear things up, this thread wasn't titled "Rare at Retail" but Rarest in general, so with that being said..

Flame on (clear variant) Torch is worth barely 15 bucks now sealed, check ebay. It's sad.. I paid almost 30 for a loose one.

Jean Grey does not fit the list either, she did at one point upon release perhaps, but there are 2 at my local TRU now.

Jim Lee Cyclops is barely 15 bucks as well online, so he shouldn't be listed as rare in this sense.

P.S.

I agreed with the silver Warpath being rare, but seen someone post that the variant was considered rare to them, that's what I was speaking about.

When Iron Patriot first hit, my Wal-Mart got quite a few cases. One night after leaving from watching a UFC, I counted 9 Iron Patriot variants on the pegs. As for the Flame-On Human Torch and light blue Bullseye, they were everywhere when these things came out. I passed up 2 Jim Lee Cyke's yesterday, 2 in the past, and I'm sitting on one if anyone wants to trade.
