Avengers Endgame - S.H. Figuarts Iron Man and Scarlet Witch

Sorta bummed, another Iron Man and SW will be in phase 4 and 5 so she will get re-releases eventually with a more accurate face sculpt. As far as the db go the exclusives almost always get regular releases shortly after. Bandai loves to take try and take our money. That's why I'm considering to switching to Mafex only the releases are much more contained and much better face sculpts imo.

Yeah, definitely missed opprtunity. Not big on the SHF practice of lets release another figure with subtle differenes for Iron Man. Was expecting a better red-eyed version of Scarlet Witch, looks a bit off from the first version which had gotten the likeness good for Olsen for the scale.

Think with the super fail with expressioned face sculpts with the US Cinema figures, especially the Cavill Superman's angry heat-vision sculpt they've been afraid to try, hence the weak eyes looking to the side face sculpts.

Just disappointed we will see more full re-issues for the most part. Still need other MCU characters.

It's a shame Dr. Strange still can't do a proper sit down with crossed legs pose, he just looks like he's doing some fancy Riverdance move. Figurart's Zenyatta comes with alternate thighs to makes him come close. For about $100 you'd think Figurarts can do something similar for Strange.

I swear Bandai looks at poor sales of a poor figure and decide future figures based on that. Their EG Hulk is just the blandest figure they could've made.

For the Scarlet Witch, is it like just a different face and everything else the same? I didn't get around to pick up the first one, so will probably just pick one. Didn't pick up Fat Thor either, so glad he's coming with some more lightening!

It could be the photo, the color might be a bit darker, but otherwise it's the same figure except for the face. Like AceSimulacrum said, I actually think the first release's face looks closer than the red eye one.

Also, Lightening: the descent of the uterus into the pelvic cavity, occurring toward the end of pregnancy, changing the contour of the abdomen and facilitating breathing by lessening pressure under the diaphragm.

Thor was fat, not pregnant.

Anyone who still hasn't preordered the IM1 Tony and the Mark 1, they finally put up the end date for the preorder, August 2nd. So they will be open a good amount of time, almost 2 months.

The lighting is definitely a problem here. Not sure, but I feel like this new release's hair color might be a darker shade.

Still irked about the energized eyes being added with this release, while the original was just given an unwarranted side-eye portrait.

I am still waiting for Star Lord with the long coat, Rocket Raccoon with the orange suit and adult Groot, all from the first Guardians OF The Galaxy movie.
Bandai just showed us the prototypes again...
Now sell us the figures!

I like the Scarlet Witch figure with the darker hair.
Why not add a few magic effects from the Endgame movie to make it more worthwhile for those of us who already have the first version?

I agree, SHF are afraid to take risks with more dynamic expressions on their headsculpts and 2 of their previous Hulk figures did not sell that well. I think if Hulk did more in the story and won his battles convincingly showcasing his vast incredible strength in the films, sales probably would be better, but that can be said for any cinema character, but anyways...

Is this all? Just wow. Well so far with Endgame things from SHF, underwhelming. the newer face sculpts are good (enough) to okay, well I'll probably go with the paint applications, shading and skin tone being off. Was hoping, although a bit foolishly really, that they would link more accessories to other figures. The large Nano Gauntlet was great with Iron Spider. might have been good to give a few Thanos heads to basically "re-issued" figures and not just more effects. Makes me wonderif they really will bring out the prototypes or missing characters we have seen and wanted. I do have some hope for Guardians of the Galaxy characters with volume 3 coming, but that's it.

Truly driving me towards the third-party add-on rabbit hole.
