Amazing photos, its like watching an old grainy vhs tape. The way you set up scenes makes it look very convincing that things are actually happening. Great work

I received my Worst wave 2 figures so I decided to look at them, from best to Worst.

My favorite is Cortex Commander. A regular guy in a military uniform with a visible brain under glass is just too cool. The possibilities for 'powers' is limitless. Now we just need a variant in a naval uniform called Cortex Commodore.
Next is Shedusa. This is the cleanest medusa figure I have seen made to date and it was hard to choose between her and CC.
Third is Red Tiger. The tiger head looks really good here and the cape rocks with the pattern on the back of it. The vinyl cape is mounted on the neck post before the head is put on the figure, first time I have seen this done on a 5PoA.
The Biker Werewolf comes in fourth. Not the best werewolf I have ever seen but it has always seemed to me that werewolves and bikers just made sense for a pack of wild animal killer shapeshifters that don't want to be identified so they keep moving around, and he comes with a pool cue.
Fifth is Captain Deadstar. Not a bid pirate fan. The torso chest looks nice but the peg leg makes it difficult to stand him up.
Last is Frankenghost. I cannot judge the quality of his sculpt because of the materials choice. The clear plastic idea is ok but trying to add the smoky black dye just screwed it up, making the detail of the figure too difficult to see. Perhaps future variants will look better.

These are the only 2. I recently found a set at a Barnes and Noble that I don't normally visit. They were at Gamestop briefly. Otherwise look on line.

Super 7 and Slayer have a 'Black Magic' Minotaur up on their site. I think it actually looks better than the original.

Super 7 has announced their Pop up event for SDCC, Revenge of the Boodega, and have shown pictures of 3 new Universal Monsters; Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Invisible Man, in translucent color. Article and pics on Toyark now and will probably spread as the day progresses.

Got my Rocky figures today. IMO, the worst figure in the set is Apollo Creed because you cannot remove the hat and make him look like he is ther to fight. Drago is good. I don't know why do a 'lumerjack' Rocky but it does have other potential. The most fun figure is probably the robot, with 3 PoA and the only accessory in the bunch. (They could have at least given WT Rocky a log or axe.) Finally the figure with the most potential. Rocky in ring gear can be repainted to represent anyversion of him from any film. I foung images of him in white with red stripe, yellow with red stripe and black with yellow stripe. Apollo also appears in red with white stripe but unless you have a Creed head you can put on the Rocky figure without a hat on him, can't be done. I would also like to see a Clubber Lang figure and a Hulk Hogan figure. In addition, S7 now needs to give us a Balrog figure for the Street Fighter line.

any chance they'll make some for the new She-Ra series? I feel like the designs would transfer pretty well and I'vd love to have an army of ironically retro styled redesigns of retro characters

My Super 7 box finally arrived today. Don't worry, the first is the worst. I like these better than the first wave, they look much nicer, even the pirate who is still my least favorite in this series. Nuff said on him. Frankenghost is much improved, you can actually see his details now. I don't get the red werewolf but ok, I will adapt (soon). White Tiger looks great. Cortex Commander is my favorite from this set, or Cortex Commodore, as I suggested this version be called because he is definitely Navy. Finally TWO versions of Shedusa, and this paint app is far superior to the first series.
