There are rumors going around that the X-Men will get their own Marvel Legends Infinite Series waves. Or 1 wave. Whatever. Anyways I don't know if this is true but I WANT it to be true. Growing up, I loved the X-Men. Now I prefer the Avengers(before the movies I read some of the books and realized I liked how cohesive they were and started to prefer the Avengers over the X-Men).

Anyways I still have a soft spot for Marvel's merry mutants. I would LOVE to have a Marvel Legends Infinite Series X-Men subline. So pick who you think should be in this line! Here are my picks in no particular order(feel free to post figures that you think would be good swap figures):
  • Brown costume 80's Wolverine(using the X-Force mold with new upper body sculpt with ab crunch, new lower legs/"ear boots", new lower arms)
  • Marvel NOW new costume Wolverine(swap)
  • Marvel NOW Cyclops
  • Marvel NOW Magneto(white costume)
  • Classic Magneto(swap)
  • Iceman(swappable Joe Mad-mouthless head sculpt)
  • Rogue(using new Black Cat body)
  • Gambit(maybe using retooled Superior Spiderman body)
  • Marvel NOW Havok
  • Classic(swap)
  • Jim Lee 90's Cyclops(swap)
  • Professor X w/90's hover chair
  • Omega Red(using new Sabretooth body)
  • B-A-F Collossus Juggernaut

Hasbro said they will be putting a sub line. IF they keep their word... no idea. But ya. Marvel NOW Cyclops and Magik please.

I love these lists. I must admit, the swaps piss me off, it seems like we never get them, although Hasbro is doing a good job with the Cap and Spidey waves. Here's my list:

Nate Grey (X-Man)
Polaris- Classic Swap with Uncanny Avengers Scarlet Witch (I think that could work)
Marvel Now! Cannonball Swap with Marvel Now! Sunspot
Wolverine- New Costume (Because you know they will)
Magik Swap with Kitty Pryde
Marvel Now! Cyclops
BAF of Marvel Now! Cable (Because of that giant arm he has)

These are just some of my personal wants. I don't see them doing many of the classic outfits, sadly.

I don't think the Black Cat body would look right for any of the female X-Men characters... they're never really drawn to be that full figured. Either the Elektra body with the updated lower legs or the new Spider-Girl body would probably suit most of the X females better.

Everyone has great figure ideas and points so I don't have much to add except that I'd like so see some obscure mutants made like Nimrod and Sunspot and a remake or two like Avalanche and 90's Cyclops. But what zoffy said was true, with maybe the exception of Rogue, the Moonstone body doesn't suit many X-Men characters.

Also, unless there are fan voted figures in the future, I don't think we'll see another Iceman for quite some time, because of the throw back set at TRU. I'm not saying I don't personally like it, as I've never had it in my hands, but consensus says the figure is lacking.

I have an old Hasbro ML Vision that uses the same body as the Iceman from the TRU set... it's a good older style body articulation wise, but it's outdated and better suited to characters like Vision or Silver Surfer (both of which used that body in the past). A smiling head sculpt could've gone a long way for the TRU Iceman though, but as is it looks more like a phasing Vision figure.
... wow, I might just use it for that in the future now that it occurred to me.

More X-Men is always good, especially ones we haven't gotten. What I really want is for them to do what they promised with the 3.75" line and give us an X-Men theme after the Avengers theme (2015 or 2016). Although the new card art might suggest they would keep things that way but still shift the characters released.

X-Men Legends?

Polaris - anything but the hulking Polaris from the early 1990s.
Selene
Dazzler- both Disco and Outback versions would be awesome.
Magik
Moonstar
Exodus
Rogue - more modern post 2000 version.
Psylocke - In Australian Outback Armor
Bastion - The creepier the better.
Nimrod
Marrow - prefer the 2nd incarnation but I'm flexible on that.
Sunspot
Madrox
Blink
Deathbird - unless she counts of general MU/Avengers Infinite
Gladiator - unless he counts as general MU/Avengers Infinite
Jubilee - unless that Jubilee Legends line does get put out
Sebastian Shaw

I think that would cover me.

Edit: one other! A Build A Figure Shadow King. The creepy Astral version not the rotund Egyptian.

I would think the Phoenix Cyclops & Rogue from the Wolverine series would be locks. Id also like to see Magik and Kitty. Maybe they go the mini-BAF route and do a movie version of Trask??

I think we got 9 figures in both captain america and Spiderman lines. So with that in mind here's the 9 x-men I want to see.

1. Rogue
2. Kitty
3. Magik
4. Magneto
5. Cyclops
6. Iceman
7. Shatterstar
8. Sunspot
9. Maverick
BaF Beast

Everyone as they look in comics now. Besides maybe shatterstar his original look would be fine.
