I have the 70th ann marvel universe Red Skull fig. I want 2 put the head on a better an taller body. I was looking at the gi joe Crimson Guard figure. The problem is, the Red Skulls ball joint is rather large compared to the joes I have. Does anyone know of a certain fig that will work or something i can do to make it work? Or will the Crimson Guard Fig work?

Red Skull uses an Indiana Jones Base figure, so you may be able to easily transition the head to something like ROC Destro, or the Crimson Guard. But it may expand the whole for swapping back to his original body.

IIRC, the Jones bodies were just a shade smaller than the ROC ones, no clue about anniversary joe figures.

Red Skull's neck it taller than the CG's, so it sits pretty low. I think it would be a pretty easy mod to chop off CG's neck and put a ball joint that can fit and is taller onto it's body. The ball joint just needs to be bigger, like you said.

Great idea for a boy though! I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet.

Well im gonna get a few of those crimson guards on ebay. And then im gonna pick up a roc destro 2morrow. This will be my 1st custom. I'm only doing it because that little body on red skull chaps my ass. I mean he's supposed to square off against cap and he is tiny. Also I think the roc snake eyes(the trenchcoat version) may work as well.
