I hope this is the right forum, I recently begun collecting DC universe figures and was looking for some info as to how to care for them. The ones I got were pre-owned and out of package. I have Captain Marvel/Shazam who really just needs some cleaning.
I have Dr Impossible who needs cleaning and I would like to know if there is a way to fix warped plastic as his left leg is warped outward at the knee joint.
I also got Deathstroke/ Slade who needs cleaning, I would have asked about loosening joints but on trying to rotate his bicep swivel it twisted off, a fact I am not happy about.

If anyone can help I would be very appreciative. Thanks

to reshape plastic, boil up some water and soak the part in question in it for about 30 seconds, might need more if it is thick. Then shape it the way you want it and dip it in cold water.

Loose joints, I recommend coats of clear nail polish, (any kind will do) a topcoat is usually the best. Let each coat dry, and build up until the joint is no longer loose.

Yeah, I think so, especially using toothpicks and Q-tips to do the job. Just be careful with what soap you end up using and the quantity of it, as some soap can remove paint in some circumstances. Generally, the more diluted it is, there is less chance of this happening. Essentially, you'll want your water soapy enough to remove any dirt and grime, but not so much to where paint removal happens
