while I really like the idea of these guys, I don't think I'm going to grab any of these. I bought the green lantern and the qc on these is horrid at best, for the price these are going for the quality should definitely be higher.

If they raised the quality and updated the articulation, maybe moved away from retro designs (I understand they are trying to match the mego style, but you can still get a classic look using better sculpts than what is being used) I'd be interested in grabbing a bunch of these

I think you guys are missing the point. That being said, I don't feel the urge to buy them either.

Well the whole point is that they are recreating the Superfriends 70's toys. This is entirely about nostalgia, and updating the sculpts would defeat the purpose. I have no plans to get them since that was before my time, but it's like reissuing the old G1 transformers. When you update them, it's just not the same.

I agree, even the cards are retro which is a nice move. This line is part of the big 75 year celebration which I think it's a rather interesting thing for older collectors of not only figures but of DC (and alike) comics.

And I also agree that this " is not my cup of joe", but I'm not nocking it down either. Nice job DC, now lets see if ya'll can do a Marvel/DC cross over like in the comics! Now that would be 100% awesome!!!!
