Sold. I think this guy next to the AvsED Ash would make for a great simple "character evolution" display without breaking the bank

I can't tell from the pic but I'm hoping for some subtle ED1 unibrow action

Is it too much to hope for doing each of the stages/multiple figures?

The rights to do some Ultimate Army of Darkness figures is still off the table for NECA right?

I need a QUarter scale Ash badly...come one NECA, lets do something besides TMNT in that scale.

I also missed the Evil Ed Ash 2 pack after BBTS cancelled my preorder for them. That sucked.

I am in. He's my favorite horror character. Very interesting is, you rarely see men as horror heroes especially in modern day, plus Ash acts like a really macho guy, yet very cowardly...

Kind of miss those kinds of heroes.

He looks excellent, it's about time we saw an update. A must buy for me.

Since this version is clean, I'm guessing a bloody version might happen later.

I would actually go for the more recent Walmart-exclusive re-release that had ED2 Hero Ash packaged by himself. That one is an upgrade over the one in the 2-pack since Ash's skin is actually cast in flesh-colored plastic this time as opposed to being painted. It looks much better.

Forget about posing this guy next to AvsED Ash...they are different scale! Ash from the TV show is much shorter (at least compared to ED2)

Looking forward the full reveal!

Hope they get into AoD for next year's anniversary...i think they will!😄

Are they different scales or just different heights? Because the latter is very normal during people's lives, I assure you :P

Cool for Evil Dead 1 fans but all I want is an ultimate Army of Darkness Ash.

I did not know that. I am one off these guys obsessed with getting the best version of characters I can. I passed on the Walmart bc I thought it was a straight re-release with no changes...damn.

I have the 12" Ash on preoreder, like 5-10 NECA Ash's minus the above mentioned, I have customized 12" Ash's.....

Yeah....I get obsessive. I just need NECA to do a 1/4 scale to truly make my collection even more bizarre.

I really wonder if NECA will do anything else besides TMNT. I assume TRU and the cough really affected their biz. I see their prices keep going up. I remember 5 years ago, the figures used to be 16, now the same figures are close to 30. Granted they use more graphic heavy packaging...but yeah, prices will only go up bc of incoming inflation.

Just warning people, if you are struggling, be prepared for prices to rise 30% or so from what I am hearing. Should happen very soon. I see some products in store already increased about 20-25% on average.

NECA had a run of their older 1/4 figures on their store which sold out fast so they must know there's still a market for them. Regarding the prices, though, that's why I didn't bite at the chance to get '89 Batman... the thing was $130 despite being like $80 just five years ago

They were generally doing a good job of making the value go up with the prices what with the alternate heads and accessory loadout (those $16 figs really didn't come with much, honestly) but it is getting out of hand

Maybe i exaggerated a little bit with the "different scale" statement, he's shorter, but way shorter than he should be due to time-passing by effects 🤣🤣🤣

Personal tastes of course but I rather prefer the painted skin tone better, though I admit they did the color molded skin well on the single boxed release for Wal Mart.
