The Red Cross is the last place anyone should be donating funds to. If you're in a disaster situation, they'll rescue you, but not your pets. You can't even enter one of their shelters with them. Until they change this practice, they won't get a dime from me.

Well, that kinda sucks, but in the eyes of most rescue workers humans lives always come first. I know I lot of guys in Emergency/Rescue who would go back for pets if possible, but it is not their priority.
