Yes, this is the first to light up. Unnecessary gimick, but very cool nevertheless.

I don't know why their doing it I wonder how it will effect the figure...I hope they don't do it for future iron man releases.

Several revoltech toys have come with a light or other gimick in the last year or so. I think it's an ongoing trend. However, from the looks of the pictures, it doesn't seem to hinder the toy any. Though I'm sure there may be an unsightly light switch, which I can't seem to find on the photos. Conveniently. I actually like it, and would have wanted it on the previous IM toys. But only if it's done like the Thor toys where it's not an actual switch, but a plate on a part of the body that's hidden nicely into the toy that you just press and it lights up. The back would have been an obvious spot.

As an IM collector I might have to aquire this, I like the light up chest reactor, the chrome paint job is very nicely done and I wasn't expecting the Stark head, the facial likeness is there but the picture makes his right side kinda seem strokish.

Im an iron man collector too and have been looking at this figure for a bit I like it allot so its a possible buy though Im more of a war machine fan lol. I hope will see the new iron man armor from the avengers film made too I think it would be a sick rovoltech figure.

I do have one question with this figure is the silver really chrome pr paint Im kinda hoping its a paint since as we all know chrome flake has always had the issue of cracking and falling apart over time.

I highly recommend getting the revoltech war machine its a great design and worth the cash. I just don't own the hot toys version since the cost but I hope one day to change that.

The revoletch warmachine is $30-40+ shipping, if u bought 2 that's nearly $100, hot toys is only $200-220 plus shipping. worth the investment.

true but I ordered mine over time with other figures which cut the shipping down to nothing.. I know it does add up to just under 100 but its hard at the moment to sink 250 to 300 into one figure I plan on getting a hot toys in the future but I'm very much happy with my revoltech for now its everything I can ask for and more.

I hear yah man in the same boat, its a future buy for me too. I also like that limited edition milk version the colors look pretty sick. I also have the Hasbro 6 inch war machine which is an amazing figure I remember hunting for them at my walmarts. I called it a mini hot toys when I got it the detail and articulation surpass any 6inch iron man before it.

I can definitely say you should pick up a revoltech war machine the sculpt is amazing and the proportions are perfect. its worthy of being a center of display in a iron man or war machine collection
