I couldn't resist anymore and pulled the trigger on Mafex Wolverine (Tiger Stripes Costume Reissue) I wish i could get it to the retailer price, but it was so popular, restocks went out of stock in no time and i am not good at keeping track of new preorders and restocks and stuff anyway. It is just so tiresome... So i took the punishment for Wolverine and paid second market price to the scalpers... And here we are.

I also paid for my Mafex Daredevil preorder.

I am not fimiliar with that X-Man (Nate Grey) character, is he Jean Grey's son or something ??? I put it on preorder just incase, i have not decided yet that if i will complete the Mafex X-Men line.

He's a survivor from the Age of Apocalypse, basically Cable without the virus holding him back. He was created by Sinister from Scott and Jean's DNA to kill Apocalypse if the need arise. As the world/event comes to its end, he gets shunted into the 616 but he never really fits in there.

He'd go better with the AoA figures but like Dark Beast, Holocaust, and Sugar Man, could still work with the regular display too if you fancy. I'm probably gonna give him a miss as I've not been doing the AoA stuff.

I would totally get the TotK figures if they weren't so god damn expensive. I feel like Figma has put a Zelda tax on their figures as a means to make them $50 more than they're worth. Then again, they did the same thing with the EMMI. Had it been like $60-80, I would have totally preordered it. At $150, no fucking way!! The EMMIs were not THAT cool.

They also still have not done Ganon from Twilight Princess.

Oh god, I feel bad for Mafex for spending that money on a looney Trump supporting shithead. No one with a good mind is going to buy that shitty ass Captain Marvel figure. Thank the gods Shazam 2 was a shitty movie.

No idea what KaijuDaddy is, but it's a still a toy that represents a version of the character played by a scumbag. If he were cast as Black Adam, that would be one thing because he would be portraying a villain like he is. He is NOT a super hero. But you also seemed to miss the "shitty movie" part as well.

Jubilee articulation feels like a step backwards for Mafex's recent output, especially on the Marvel side but still looks good. Gotta pick and choose with this line so she's a pass but the only other competition out there being Marvel Legends, it's hard to pass up versions like this.

I'm only going to buy the Mafex ones if they release my top choice characters. I've got Phoenix with Cap and DD eventually on their way and Spidey 2099 on preorder. The only other characters I would buy for sure would be Romita Sr Spidey and then the Byrne/Cockrum versions of Cyclops, Banshee, Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Colossus.

Beyond those, it would have to be the defintive version of my top tier versions of characters. LIke if they were to do the Fantastic Four, I would only buy them if they used the blue/black costumes Kirby gave them.

For what is already out, I wouldn't mind Magneto and the brown suited Wolverine despite him having the X belt, though if they redo those two with how they looked in the early Claremont run, I would have no issue with that.

Thanks for the info, but why is he not a Summers but a Grey ??? Father issues ??? lol I plan to get AOA Wolverine, but i am undecided on the rest.

I just knew as soon as I saw this post that there was going to be some nutcase clown having an absolute meltdown. Thank you for not disappointing. Embarrassing yourself for our entertainment is a choice your type makes a lot, but it's always fun to laugh at.
