Looks like the stubbiness is just him crouched and his legs fully extend!

Aside from the obvious stuff like the neck, arms and legs, I wonder how crazy Hiya plans on going? Will the two extra arms curled up over his shoulders be articulated? What about his battering ram left arm? Does he have his shoulder cannon? Can't wait to see how this turns out!
Yeah, his legs look perfectly in proportion in these shots. Maybe the first pics just featured an earlier prototype or something. |

I still don't understand NECA's stubborn refusal to do this figure themselves, especially now that they are bringing out those awesome new Robocops with unmasked heads. Isn't Randy's excuse for it basically that he doesn't think it would sell well enough, so it's not worth doing? Same weak excuse he's used for the Harrigan Predator 2 figure for years now, despite a large collector base repeatedly asking for the figure.

Man, Mike Harrigan has been one of my most-wanted figures for years. It's killing me that NECA will make figures no one wants like Hawkins from Predator 1 but they won't do Harrigan.

i never cared about having a cain or anything after the first movie. but this looks awesome.
I have all the hiya avp alien and predators, and all the rodriguez predators and all the robocops. Basically everything theyve released lately and they are all insanely awesome. theyre will be a stickankle joint or frozen shoulder joint here or there, but once heat is applied they are perfect. Same thing with all modern action figures today. Anyway I love what Hiya's doing. |

Hiya is 100% legit, as this may be the greatest 4" scale action figure ever made. The retail version even looks way better than the hand-painted prototype did. The QC is nearly flawless, tons of articulation, all the joints are tight and sturdy, fantastic paint apps, and despite being top heavy, it stands just fine. Amazing.
