I saw this at my local hobby shop recently, it looks amazing in person, I really like the way it came out, the details are very well done.

This is a 1/18 Scale Dark Night Batmobile Die Cast Model by Hot Wheels®.

Suitable for Ages 14 & Older.

FEATURES: An authentic reproduction of the Dark Night Batmobile Synthetic rubber tires Retractable canopy Die-cast body

SPECS: Scale: 1/18 Length: 9" (229mm) Width: 5" (127mm) Height: 3"
(76mm)

Retail is around $35, depending on where you go.

Any of you die cast collectors planning on picking this up?

I'd love to pick it up if I could find it! My local hobby/comic book shops stink.

You can find it online here: Batmobile Tumbler from "The Dark Knight" Batman Movie (Hot Wheels) 1/18 diecast car Batman Batmobile DieCast

diecastfast is a reputable online store with a gret selection

I have only seen it once in person at a model shop, I have not seen it anywhere else but online.

That thing is awesome. I believe they are also releasing a Batmobile from the Tim Burton Batman movie.

Wait...1/18...pardon the ignorant question...that's 3 3/4" size scale, right?

If so...does that mean 3.75" figures fit in this??? Does it have an opening canopy or is it just a hunk of metal?

Thanks for any answers...

Not exactly, but close...They look good next to them, but they don't really fit, the legs could crack the steering wheel, so I just have my customs posed with the car

the canopy opens

Optimus Scourge, does that mean that Joes and other 3.75" figures are slightly bigger than true 1:18 scale?

they look perfect scale, they just don't fit inside very well, you can fit them with some finesse, but it is not really a good idea, as I snapped off a steering wheel doing that they are big, especially the 25th Joes are bigger (taller) than ARAH

I will see how a vintage Joe looks, i will try and dig up a pic soon.

the toy version plastic Batmobile for the 3 3/4 figs are a bigger car than the 1/18
