I want to know.... What do you think is the best Marvel 3 3/4'' figure from such lines as Marvel Universe, Wolverine Origins,Spiderman,Wolverine and the X-Men,etc... My vote goes for Wolverine origins Deadpool, I was able to pick up 2 of them along with 2 unmasked versions, so that I could do 1 as a custom and have 1 stock with dual guns, extra swords etc.... 1 of the best sculpts with most accessories... interms of weight i gotta give it to hulkbuster.. I just wish the helmet lifted.... I want to hear from people who have the toys and what would you say is the best?

The modern Thor definitely gets my vote. It's pretty much perfect in every way.

The unmasked deadpool is a custom right?

Anyway, that is a hard question to answer. I don't know how decisive I can be so I'll throw a few out there...

MU Iron Man Extremis- definitely a very solid figure. Great articulation, comic likeness and I hardly hear or even see figures with bad paint apps.

SHS Doc Ock- Good poseability, articulation and likeness

XMO Deadpool- everything you said!!!

IM2 Ultimate Iron Man- switchable heads good articulation. Very accurate

Spiderman 3.75's Rhino. Great sculpt and decent articulation for a line that is notorious for crappy articulation

Buuttt If I had to narrow it down to one, I suppose I would say:

Flamed on Version Human Torch Single Card Version (NOT the Comic Packs version). I have no idea why, its a pretty basic figure but the way this figure was produced is just amazing. I love the translucent body with the color schemes. I'm a sucker for aesthetics...

I think Ultimate Iron Man for me from the comic series IM 2 Line
From the Spidey 3.75 line its got to be Carnage and Rhyno a close second
From MU i have to say either Dr. Doom or Archangel easily two of the best figures
Wolverine Origins: 2 Pack Sabretooth and Deadpool the rest of the line was pretty poor but these were great additions to MU

I definitely agree with you....I have to admit I am a completist so I even tend to buy some of the crappier figs. I'm glad that I have him just so I have that costume of him

Iceman? He wasn't too horrible

Gambit though was pretty awful gotta admit

i think best marvel universe line will be (until now) iron man 2 comic series. they totally awesome and the sclupt and paint quite good and different when they produce single series MU. example you try see from iron man classic MU series 1 and iron man 2 classic armor iron man, they are totally different and for the body iron man 2 comic series is the best. the single series from MU is too thin

For the ones I own

MU: Juggernaut - Just a Fantastic solid figure with great proportions and posability. Doesn't bother me his helmet doesn't come off, it'd probably be loose and fall off all the time like the ML one. One of my favourite figures ever.

I also love the AIM Solider and Skrull for their accessories, Modern Thor (Just, wow) and Moon Knight (who's one of the few characters who can use that retired body sculpt effectively). I wish I could love Extremis Iron Man, I really want to like him. But every joint on my figure is so loose apart from his hips, which you can't pose as they just move back into neutral so he is pretty much useless as a figure to me.

IM2: Classic Iron Man - Again, a solid figure and great articulation. Hasbro seem to have learned from their mistakes on the XMO:W line with the hip joints and tightened them up. love the blast off effect as well.

The runners up are Comic War Machine, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo and the Hulkbuster. Just all beautiful Figures.

XMO:W - Deadpool. Hands down.

Thanks!
AW

Yeah Iceman wasn't too bad reminded me of that toybiz figure from the mid 90's but i think the spiderman and friends 3 pack beat it hands down though, Also on the Spiderman line Venom would have been perfect had it been given proper articulation i mean Carnage is now one of my favourite figures !!

For mine picks I'd have to say based on the ones I have:
MU: a toss up between Modern Thor{for all the reasons already listed} and Juggernaut{also for all the reasons already listed}

IM2: Gotta agree with the Classic IM on this one too

Spidey line: hands down Rhino though Carnage ain't bad either

XMO: Have to go with Sabretooth from the boxed set with Logan and the bike. I would say Deadpool but all mine{I have 3} have issues with loose joints right out of the package.

But these choices may be changing or being added to soon since I really think WW Hulk, Thanos, Galactus, and even the IM2 Mandarin might make my list when I get them.

MU: The sculpt on the Wrecker was a nice surprise, but I think Captain Britain was the best figure so far. I would have picked Juggernaut, but all I can see when I look at him is a hollow helmet with a face inside.

Iron Man 2: Crimson Dynamo.

Spider-Man: The convention exclusive this summer edges out the regular line based solely on the suction cub web line.

X-Men Origins: The two pack Sabretooth is the only figure in this line with which I can't find a flaw. He's not too short, too tall, to stiff, too shiny, too pointy, too wobbly, maskless, or a statue with spring-loaded arms. Sabretooth wins by default.

My favorite thus far is the Ultimate Captain America, at least the one I own that has acceptable paint apps that is.

And to spice it up, my favorite DCIH's: Deathstroke

My favs in no order are the Dark Spider-Man, XMO Cyclops, Modern Thor, Mark III Movie Iron Man, and the Astonishing X-Men Wolverine from the XMO 2 pack with Colossus (looks even better with Classic Wolvie's mask head).

I'm just going to call it now:

X-23 is my favorite MU figure. Yes I know she's not released yet, but it'll just save time for when she is. xD

Good Question...

I would say that Iron Man Extremis is one of my favs. From the MU line I like Archangel, Wrecker, Red hulk, Wolverine, Johnny Storm, Dr. Doom, and Ultron.

From the XMO line Deadpool, Sabretooth and that's about it.

And IM2 all the Villains! Silver Centurion, Hulk Buster, comic War Machine, Classic and Deep dive Iron Man.

can't wait for the Captain America line, I can't think of one figure I've seen that I wont get.

Just because no-one has mentioned it i'm putting the X-force Warpath up as one of my favourites. The face sculpt is great! I'm quite liking the Spidey in the two-pack with Sentry. I lucked out as his paint app is flawless!

Hmmm....best MU-style 3.75" figures....

Ok, this is based only on figures that I actually own.

XMO:W - Deadpool (of course).
MU - Tie between Modern Thor and Ghost Rider. Probably give the edge to Odinson, since Johnny's missing his bike.
IM2 - CE Hulkbuster.
