Even on eBay right now, there are preorders for $124.99 or best offer with free shipping. I understand your trying to justify buying the Hulkbuster. It is a really cool looking figure, but I think everyone here who is complaining about the $285 price tag has a point. We can understand the reasons for the huge price increase (web exclusive, die cast metal parts, light-up electronics, large size), but even so, for someone who just wanted a Hulkbuster to display with their $75 Hulk, the 280% price increase over the cost of the Hulk really stings.

Like I said before, I went looking quickly and briefly way after it originally solicited. I did a scan on eBay and a brief google search for figuarts Hulk. Most of what I saw was in the 125 to 150 range. Factor in unscientific shipping on the 125s and that goes to 150. So my mind rounded up to 150 and that's what's been there since. This was all done in probably 5 minutes months ago, I saw that averaged rounded number and closed the browsers saying F that. I haven't really thought about it since then until now. So my situation mapped out above is less accurate since Hulk was originally available for 80.

That being said, the 160*/300/800/1000+ options for modern Hulkbusters based on what you'd have to pay for them right now is still valid I think, and I'm still considering this.

So who will actually be selling these other then sellers on ebay? i just checked the pricing and one is selling for $369 and another for $399.... both being the last ones left both sellers have in stock.

once again i want one of these but it all depends on how much they'll be selling for.

As far as I'm aware, Nippon-Yasan is the only one who has preorders up right now. They're a Japanese company that sells imports to customers abroad. It's around $330 shipped, I think. I'm not sure who else will be selling them since it's a web exclusive or something.

i was about to myself but when i seen the price of $489.99 that right away swayed me against it.... what happen with the $285 pricing? avaialble 2016 also ?? hmmm.

Because BBTS is a big ripoff store. They marked up the price for about $200. If you are still interested, try these sites.

i wouldn't necessarily call them a rip off, i've gotten plenty good deals , fast shipping, and excellent costumer service... however with this item, i can see i won't end up purchasing it from them.

so it's be available next year january??? hmmm that's one hell of a wait especially if you want one within the next few months.

They are good with domestic items but anything foreign has a HUGE markup %. Yeah it comes out pretty late. Jan 31? So if you want a less detailed one, skip this and go for the Marvel Legends BAF. Less pain on your wallet too.
