I hope the Head Sculpts are accurate....because previous Bandai Figures for
Marvel and DC were not so great concerning Actor Accurate Head Sculpts.
Hope so too. Remember that the first reveal doesn’t always mean it’s how the figure will look. I’d give it some time.

There’s a figure that looks like civil war Bucky next to CA. Also, is that another Thor in between Loki and Nick Fury?? I don’t recognize the figure. Does it have a question mark on the chest? Who’s that?

Captain Marvel looks good, and I'll probably snag it (along with Iron Man Mk8), but...

WHERE THE HECK IS MAR-VELL (MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THE ENTIRE MARVEL UNIVERSE)???

Ditto. I'll probably cherry-pick more characters if they look really good.

I'm fairly sure that the Bucky and Cap are based on their TWS designs. Specifically, Cap is in his Golden Age suit that he wears during the final battle against Bucky on the Helicarrier, which is a slightly modded replica of the First Avenger suit.

Yeah, the placards in front of the figures say that they’re the TWS designs.

Samurai Black Panther, huh? Do they remember Ninjas existed or no? After that and Samurai Spidey, I fully expect a Samurai Daredvil to be announced very soon.

Holy crap! That’s the Bucky I’ve been waiting for! I’m gonna be getting so many of those new releases. I was fool enough to think my MCU collection was nearing completion and then they go and show all this off! Need to sell off my Legends Scarlet Witch and perhaps Nebula too and it may be time to finally move on from figma Hulk. If I get this Thor I’ll try to sell the original SHF one but who’s gonna want him now when there are such better options?! I won’t be needing my Ragnarok Loki anymore either as this is his definitive outfit. SHF Infinity War Bucky and my AoU Cap can also move aside. I only want to have one figure of every character and everything here looks like an improvement over already existing versions.
I was hoping Mafex would bring out some MCU characters but it’s probably too late for them to draw me in now.

Really liking the Captain Marvel fig, though the likeness looks a bit off from Brie Larson. On the other hand, the likenesses on both the Loki & Scarlet Witch figures are mind-blowingly uncanny. I just hope that the gap between the headsculpt and hair on Scarlet Witch can be easily fixed. It kinda throws her appearance off in the attached pics.

I looked up the term, which is Tonosama:

https://www.samurai-archives.com/vocab.html

It says to look at Oyakata, which says to look at daimyo which says:

Quote:
Daimyô - ‘Great Name’; term used to describe the autonomous lords of the late 15th and 16th Centuries who exercised personal authority on a multi-province, multi-district, or, in some cases, multi-village level. A term occasionally, and incorrectly, applied to the earlier SHUGO, or misleadingly equated to the shugo. At the same time, the term shugo-daimyo is sometimes used to describe the increasingly autonomous shugo of the early to mid-14the Century, and the term shugo can be found still in use as late as 1560. In the Edo period, the term daimyo generally applied to those lords who governed lands worth more than 10,000 KOKU.
So basically, King T'Challa

Amazing! A day of days! And this is just day one. There's rumors of new Naruto figures and hopefully that Gogeta blue will be revealed here too.

On the HT Alita, did they change her design, or is this a variant? I liked the one that showed the armor without the black suit in top. If they are only making this one, or the black suit isn’t removable, I am not too interested now.
