If you're looking for these in store, you may have to look around a bit. Most Targets have them stocked in the collectibles section. But I've come across them on an end cap near the collectibles section where they usually put clearance items. I've also seen them on an end cap in the toy section with the new TMNT Mutant Mayhem figures.

Target's site has once again lied to me about the availability of TMNT toys at my local store.

Yep, that's why I didn't decide to drive 30 min to hunt for the figs based on Target website data. Burn me once, shame on me.

These Target exclusives and gold labels are driving me nuts.

Just call your store up. That's what I did last week. I called one and they told me they did not have the 4pack in stock, but then directed me to what stores did. I called one of those and they put it on hold for me.

Lying implies an ill intention. I think it's more that whatever system they use for stock can't keep up with real-time purchases.

I drove a half-hour today to look for these, and then was like, "I'll just sit tight and wait for these to come online." I don't really drive around anymore. The waste of time and gas...costs more than just paying the mark-up on eBay.

Anyway, they're in stock now on Target. Just ordered the Turtles and April to complement the Splinter I ordered earlier today. Thanks to this site for even letting me know about these figures and where to find them online.

So like always? If you are in EU - no figures for you? Wrong country?
So mad for that marketing model...

I got lucky yesterday - the website showed the 4-pack as in stock at a store about 20 minutes away and it actually was. That might be a first.

They also had Splinter and the Foot Soldier, so I grabbed those as well. These Mirage releases are the Turtles I've always wanted.

Doesn't always work. Tried it before, and the employee was clueless about whether the item was in stock and irritated.

Not always, no sign of these in Canada & almost none of the recent animated stuff has shown it Canada, not even pre-orders. Nothing released since like mid/early 2022 has made it to Canada outside of the Haulathon stuff.

Even the haulathon stuff which was supposed to be sold in TRU in Canada didn't get any of the animated 2-packs or all of the mirage/archie comic stuff, just some of them.

Saw these yesterday online. Already found all except the 4 pack. Shipping was available for the 4 pack so at 6:30CST put my order in. I had 3 stores show in stock. I went ahead and ordered one each from 2 of the stores. One hooked me up the other cancelled which is typical of Target. If the item is not right in front of them most wont look for it in the back for pickup. The non-Super Targets seemed to be the best at fulfilling these type of store pickups. I did go to one that stated out of stock and the employee showed 2 in stock though the .com stated none. She did find one hidden under the shelving system so people are still doing that. It was beat up so I was able to pick one up from the store pick up and cancel the shipping one. The last 4 pack showed up multiple times but the accessory pack I have only seen once in stores so I would suggest the 4 pack you pick up if seen or even the April.

My local target resource said his store got two sets in, both were snagged by his co-worker. His store never showed them in stock, but they were there.

That's why you give them the DPCI. Then there's no confusion on what product you are looking for.

Also, it doesn't matter if the employee is irritated, it is their job to serve you. If they don't like it, tough, they can go find another job.

Nah. They go back in the warehouse to “look” and take that moment to lounge around and do nothing for a minute. I’ve learned over the years which clerks actually look and which ones use the time to pick their nose. Harsh but true, if you want product found, don’t ask a male clerk. Much higher odds of not looking.

Customer service is lip service today.

Man, that sucks. My Targets have all been quite good at ensuring their employees do their jobs. At least, they have whenever I ask and tell them I have the DPCI.

The website said my local store had April, splinter, shredder, and the foot (no box set)… was showing all out of stock yesterday. Called the store, guy said they didn’t have any, it was “all sold out long ago”. Still showed 4 of each online. He said they weren’t there. So I ordered them online. 1 hr later, my order was ready for pickup… all 4 items.

The very first issue of the original comics. However, whoever said that messed up the names. Saki is their last name, Oroku is Shredder's first, so his brother's name is Nagi Saki. Get it?

Anyway, Nagi was in love with the same woman as Hamato Yoshi. Nagi kidnapped the woman after learning she was in love with Hamato and challenged Hamato to a fight to the death. Hamato won and both he and his love fled to America. Oroku vowed vengeance for his brother's murder and trained as a Foot Ninja, rising to the ranks of Shredder. He was then sent to their NYC branch, which is where he learned Hamato and his lover were, so he killed them both upon his arrival.

Nothing you just said addresses their faux pas though, I'm not sure you read it right.

Saki didn't inherit the mantle of Shredder from a man who never had it.

also II'm probably the person on this board that needs the history lesson the least

Actually, oruku is the family name. Nagi was the older brother, saki the younger one. I am flipping through the pages of TMNT issue 1, and typing… ahem… Hamato Yoshi, Splinter’s owner, killed Nagi when he attempted to rape and murder the woman they both loved (kidnapping would not have her beaten, breast exposed, saying “if I cannot have her, no one will!”). In a fit of anger, Yoshi beat him to death. No challenge. Raw hatred. Shamed he let emotions overcome him, he and left for America with his love. Saki, Nagi’s younger brother, vowed vengeance on the coffin of his brother. Trained hard and quickly rose in the ranks of The Foot. Eventually, he was given a leadership position in the expansion of The Foot, taking them to New York City. It is there he adopts the name The Shredder, and devotes the Foot to a specialized organized crime protection racket. As “The Shredder” he kills Yoshi and his wife. Splinter (exceptionally long lived for a garden variety pet rat) was left homeless, and the rest is history….
