YES! About 100% better than the 1st movie figures (apart from Splinter who looks to be a straight repaint).

I REALLY hope Shredder has that helmet in the movie, also if Krang is in it which I assume he is I am VERY happy with that design

I'm going to assume that there are going to be a lot less paint apps on the actual figures. Playmates always does this.

The figures look really good. I might pass on the themed versions of the Turtles, but I think I'll likely be getting all of the other figures. I really like that Mikey comes with his rocket powered skateboard.

Assuming this is the only wave of figures, I'll have to see if I can track down an April from the first movie's line.

Krang looks awesome, and this, imho, is absolute confirmation that we'll be seeing him in the movie. Should be interesting to see how he looks on the big screen. I have a feeling that his action figure, as good as it looks, probably doesn't do his design justice. Most especially his size.

It's nice to see the new Shredder with a helmet. Hopefully that's something we'll see him wearing at least a couple of times in the movie.

I have to admit, I didn't think Playmates would ever make another Technodrome playset. Especially since they still haven't made one for the Nick series. Ironically, I almost ended my first post with a joke comment asking Playmates "Now, how about a new Technodrome?"... lol

While it doesn't look like anything real special, I might get it. Partly to support future playsets, but also because it might make a decent display piece with the figures.

I'll probably pass on them, but it's nice to see Rocksteady's and Bebob's bikes in the toy line.

I can't wait to see the inevitable toy of the Turtles garbage truck.

The villains and Casey look fine and I'll probably get those but the Turtles don't look any better than the ones from the last movie.

I've gotta disagree, to me they look a lot more heroic and brighter instead of just weird or gross. The fact that they don't all have skirts limiting their leg movement is a huge plus for me as well.

Not keen on many of the Playmates figures, including these ones.

Yeah I immediately ditched the Conan the Barbarian loincloth thing for a proper belt and added some extra red touch-ups.

I wish I'd thought of that, might give it a go later

Not bad when you compare them to the previous bunch of movie figures, but my goodness...will we EVER get a half decent version of the Shredder, from this or any line for that matter?

The Technodrome is really cool and ambitious looking, but that is way too much empty space inside an already tight space for what I am sure will be a 100 dollar toy.

Ugh, I don't know if it is because of the size / lack of details, they look like bootleg stuff you find in a china shop, specially Bebop, Rocksteady and foot soldier.
Foot soldier looks like he has seen some s**t.

Probably just going to stick with Casey and the villains. Might think about Leo but I'll need to see him in person.

This is my reaction as well. Maybe it will look better in person, but the shredder looks pretty lame. And the lack of paint is not doing the lame sculpt any favors. Still feeling the sting of the NECA and classic Playmates versions that never came out. I loved both of the prototypes.

Getting the Technodrome for sure!!! Only for my son's awesome Nick Turtle display. Not getting the movie line, not that I don't like them, just gonna spend that money elsewhere. I do like this round a lot and I also think they are HUGE improvement.

Also, not movie related but-just found the Nick line blimp today for 8.99 on sale!!

Is it me, or is Splinter's eyes completely blacked out? Is he going to be blind in this movie?

After looking through these a little longer, I'm actually impressed how these turned out overall...except for Shredder of course. I really dig the new Turtle sculpts, Bebop and Rockstar look good, and the Kraang...Oh man.

I will be definitely getting a few of those Kraang figures. I can imagine them fitting I rather nicely with my Nick collection. I wonder if the Kraang from the Nick toys will fit in that android body...

Also, no Karai. Booooooo.

I'd rather feed dollar bills into Megan Fox's cleavage than spend good money on this garbage that will NEVER go away.

Cool, good to see the next wave of figures that will be warming pegs across the nation soon and haunting clearance aisles
