Ok I am pretty new to a lot of the Bandai stuff, and our recent trip to SDCC has gotten me interested in the Figuart figures. They seem a lot similar to Revoltech (which is also something I am trying to expand past the Transformers pieces with).

I thought they were all just Kamen Rider figures since I seen a crap ton on display at the Bandai booth, but now that I am home and doing some more research I see there is a Son Gohan due to come out soon. When perusing the thread at TFW I see that there was also a Piccolo and a SSJ Goku, so I was wondering what else is available out there? I'm not sure if the Goku and Piccolo came out a long time ago, or have yet to come out because BBTS only lists the Gohan one.

Are there checklists out there? Are there other Figuarts besides Kamen Rider, One Piece and Dragonball? Are there other Dragonball pieces? Are there Figuarts that are more rare or harder to get? Are there any essential Figuart pieces that you feel any collection should have?

A pretty good checklist on S.H. Figuarts can be found here.

Originally this line was a Kamen Rider line, replacing the Souchaku Henshin (Armor Transform) line, but now they've expanded to several different properties. Some off the top of my head are G-Gundam (Domon and Master Asia), Pretty Cure, One Piece and Dragonball. These things are excellent figures and you get a pretty good number of accesorries...expect for Agito... which completely justifies the price for them. I normally get mine from Hobby Link Japan and the exclusive ones from YokattaShopping, but several other stores carry them as well.

Here's some pictures that I took of mine a while back.

I almost forgot.... There's an Ultraman version of the Kamen Rider Figuarts line called Ultra-Act. The only one released so far is the original Ultraman. Mebius, Zero, and a few bad guy monsters are slated for release soon.

I'll have to post my exclusve "CUTE" figure from Queen's Blade.

They are nice figures and the details are really sharp.

My only beef with the one I have is that her hair is a bit...fragile.

Pics later...

If I were able to afford one, Kamen Rider W would be the first Figurarts toy I buy (Cyclone/Joker version, natch).

Vangelus has done quite a few YT reviews of the KR Figurarts. I swear he did W, but I can't find it right now.

I saw the one he did of Decade complete form, which is the whole reason I fell into this whole Kamen Rider thing. Saw it on display at SDCC and said "oh wow what the hell is that? I like it!"

Damnit!

Ah, found my mistake. TJOmega did the W review.

But yeah, Decade Complete Form looks awesome, too. On the one hand, I'm kind of glad I don't have any because I can already tell it would be a slippery slope once I got the first one in-hand. Maybe I can hold off until I hit up a Con and find them there.

It's a lottery...

You have to buy that issue of Shonen Jump and send in the Mailer...

Then it looks like soo many people will recieve one.

They do this all the time. It's FUN! I mailed away one for a Gundam kit from GundamA when I was in Japan.

Chances are, it's only valid for Japanese residents. It's similar to contests and mail-away promotions that are done here which are only for US residents.

I suppose you could try hitting up one of the import websites (like HLJ) to see if they're offering a pre-order or something.

Ooo, that's going to be tough. That's a Tamashii web exclusive. You may want to post the same question in the TFW version of this thread and see if anyone can help you there. The sites I've checked don't even have a listing for it.
