VERY nice! I hollowed that Onyx helmet out and found that it fits great...on nobody.
Love the wculpting work you did on his left arm! did you just cover the parts and then sculpt put the recessed areas or did you apply strips of flat putty and wrap them around his arm? Once I get moved into my new place I plan on making an Ares with an extra Mr. Sinister as the base- some guy did that on Figure realm and it's the best custom I've ever seen.

Thanks, Jason. As for the arm protector I just lay a flat piece over his arm and sculpted/indented the lines. I've seen that Colossus/Sinister Ares and it is indeed, quite awesome.
One more custom to finish the weekend, SDCC-style Sharon Carter with the ladies of SHIELD! Last edited by scottmurdock; 09-30-2012 at 07:10 PM.. |

Thanks, Snake!
@Sym - that kit is awesome. One tip (as if you need it, lol), assembly is required for the arms. I had to shave the joints a bit with a dremel and loosen the peg holes. "Boiling" the parts worked wonders as far as helping me get the pieces assembled. I had no idea that joints were that difficult to assemble, lol. Great new customs Scott! Loving that Wonderman, and of course, the SHIELD ladies!
Now make super powered SHIELD badasses Daisy Johnson, Yo Yo Rodriguez, Ellis Love and Lauren Wolfe!

Thanks Jimmy and Jason! I haven't had a lot of time for customs recently but I hope to have more up soon.
@Jason - It's interesting that you bring those ladies up. I have a couple of Avengers BW bucks available for customizing, I just need to get some head sculpts. |

Thanks, FP!
@kyl - Thanks! The black and white paints were Testors acrylic and Folk Art (Walmart) for added thickness. The red is Tamiya clear. @snake - Thanks! That's the sculpt under the paper bag for variant Spidey. I got the cast from Vortious since Baghead is crazy expensive nowadays! |

Love the Blade and Metamorpho. He doesn't get enough love. What head did you use for Blade? I've been wanting to do one like that for a while now and can't find a decent head to use.
