Plus, I'm more concerned if they got the core essence of the character accurate than just a 1:1 translation. Like Snyder's version of the DC characters are not even remotely like their comic counterparts in anything they do. Superman kills. Flash is an emo twatard shut in with anxiety issues who isn't intelligent enough to be a cop. I don't remember any issue of New Teen Titans where Cyborg drops f bombs.

On the other hand, Holland's Peter has the same awkward nerdiness that Stan Lee's Peter displayed in the comics.

Holland's Peter definitely nails both the awkward nerdiness and the natural quippage that both Tobey and Andrew's Peters were lacking one of, but until the very end of No Way Home he's lacking something I think is very important to Spider-Man that both the prior versions had: actually being poor.

Well, maybe we can blame the Flash depiction on crazy Ezra Miller. The next casting choice is odd, too. Like they just want someone weird to act as Flash. Like the actor can't be a normal guy? Cuz it works so well what's happening with the Ezra choice.
I can see Cyborg sort of being like that, he was an angry dude who had odd slang in the 1st New Teen Titans. What's really fd up is the Snyder cut just having him steal massive amounts of money for 1 family, & fing up systems just to magically get that 1 family ahead.
