Agreed and it may have even been a possibility before the Fox buyout. Now that Disney owns Predator though it'll never happen.

Whoa. Your photos are spectacular as always Joe. They really bring out the amazing sculpts and paint apps. I could admire these all day long.

Which is a bad thing since it only makes me sadder for not being able to nab a set with me being in Canada and all! *sniffles*

It really sucks as these were originally meant to general retail releases when they were announced. The DC Licensing situation has always been problematic for them.

I really like both sets, but the Superman / Alien one wins IMO. The Alien is a solid relatively standard Alien for a casual collector, and Superman is just sharp. These two are good fillers. Standard Batman and that Sinestro Predator will probably be my next tops.
