SDCC Exclusive Sentinel plastic smell

Is it just me or just the SDCC Exclusive Sentinel smell kind of like weed? I don't use it but I know what it smells like and I thought it was just the one I got but now I got a second box from a totally different person and it also smells like weed. What gives, Hasbro? LOL.

lol!! Somebody else made a post saying that their Sentinel that they bought from someone off eBay smelled like weed. Can't remember who. Maybe that's how they roll in the factories. Pulling all-nighters pumping out all the SDCC exclusives.

That's Hilarious, I kinda want 1 a lil more right now, incase maybe a baggie of the good stuff fell in by accident, Hasbro making a difference 1 sentinel size joint at a time. haha so thats why the paint applications are fucked sometimes lol.

Mine got here today and has a really strong rubber stink. It's probably going to smell that way for a week or so.

wouldn't that be clever, they smuggled in lbs of weed and made it exclusive so everybody wants 1, then a month later have a massive recall on the toys, you just smuggled 100 tons of marijuana successfully, remove the weed and ship back the figures with a lil discount card and a few MU figure for the hassle lol.. MUHAHAHAHAH, shouldn't have watched Scarface this late and smoked that....lol

Mine doesn't smell like weed, or anything other than a new toy, but you fools had me sticking my nose up against the "try me" cut-out on the bubble. lol

..and I'm no stranger to the smell of a little sticky-icky.

This explains it..

Hasbro originally released nothing but classic colors.. then as they were sent to packaging.. the stoned packagers decided repainting them silver and purple would be groovy. So now they're all ugly silver/purple.

The harsh plastic smell is there to fool te dogs at Customs- all the weed smuggled into the contry come in via large action figures and dolls.
It's the only thing that explains those wresteling figures and 10" Tron figures.
Wal Mart and Target dont open all those stores to sell cheap crap from China, you know!

They recycle the plastic, extract the product and write the shipping off as a loss on their taxes. It's brilliant.

Okay, it's confirmed. My buddy came over to play video games and he was a pothead and he saw my sentinel and started sniffing and was like "was someone smoking pot in here?" and I was like, "I KNEW IT! I'm NOT crazy!!!" LOL.
