SDCC Masterverse 40th MOTU Box Set

I'll try and see if I can snag a set on Mattel Creations. Would be a cool display piece to keep MiSP. If I don't snag one so be it, I won't lose any sleep over it. I have the 40th He-Man preordered and I am pretty sure Skelator will eventually see a release at retail.

For some reason I really really want the metal weapons and armour that are exclusive to this set. lol

Ah sorry to disappoint but not irish or a pirate. lol. Big portion of my family is scottish on my mother's side and I spent a ton of time up there. I don't usually think anything of it. We say 'aye' a lot in my family lol

Mattel has been pretty good with the prices on their MOTU stuff. Now if this were Hasbro, it would definitely be over $150.

MattelCreations website has it listed for $35.00. That doesn't seem right but I really hope it is!

I saw that $35 price tag as well, there is no way that can be right, seems way to cheap compared to what bog standard single release Masterverse figures are priced at

The Target Clearance Plague is spreading! Now its infecting new releases!

I was considering skipping it, but for 35, it is a definite. I was expecting 50-75 actually. Sadly, I will not be surprised to see that 3 changed to a 5 by Friday.

Edit: Was over on the Masterverse thread on TFW. The price is wrong, the set is said to be 80.

Got mine. Refreshed 12 on the dot, initially said sold-out a few more refreshes, then a frustrating wait and verification code, and finally got one.
