Today, Hasbro released all the basic information to their SDCC exclusives, including prices and availablity and such. Missing from this information was the ML Thor.
Marvelousnews.com has a interesting article on the possibility of a cancellation.
Official Hasbro 2011 SDCC Exclusive Pricing Info - Marvel Legends Thor Canceled?!? - Marvel - MarvelousNews.com
With 8 days to go till SDCC, and Hasbro essentially revealing all of their SDCC exclusive plans, It looks more and more like it has indeed been cancelled.

im really going to wait for the movie to come out , it will be big plus they will possibly make a box set of 6 inch and 3.75 inch figures of the avengers which would be awsome, so thats what im waiting for

I see two possibilities here (If it is indeed cancelled):

One - Hasbro is pushing back the Marvel Legends relaunch till later next year, as opposed to late this year/early next year as originally scheduled. This would give it more marketing synergy with the Avengers film.

Two - Retailers passed on the line, killing it before it even got off the ground. No Marvel Legends relaunch coming. With Iron Man Legends only being carried by TRU there doesn't seem to be much demand from retailers for 6" figures right now....

Someone posted these pics yesterday, I thought they were 3.75". The packaging is different for 6" figures.

It's possible the modern (comic) Thor could get shifted to an exclusive of some kind, but no, these are not the figures in question here.

its a shame they make such a good fig like this an exclusive. if they mass produced this, it would sell really well.

It will be mass produced.

This is a "sneak peek" and modern Thor will be part of the first wave of the relaunched Marvel Legends. Can't say for sure yet, but the SDCC version will probably have packaging and/or paint app differences from the final mass-retail versions.

I suspect that the SDCC version is meant to be "powered up" Thor (Note the intense blue eyes and "glow" effect painted on the discs holding his cape in place, and the retail version will be "regular" Thor.

Like the Sentinel, the SDCC exclusive will be colored correctly and the retail Thor will be all pastel pink and white with a Hello Kitty sticker on his hammer.
