SDCC tickets?

Anyone hear of any rumors regarding Comic Con badge sales? I know the pre-registered attendees purchased theirs, but I was wondering when the normal attendee badges might go on sale.

Wouldn't non-pre-registered badges be on the day of the convention? Any day you reg before the con is pre-reg.
