Here is what I don't get: even with the mentioned issues - distribution, figures not selling, etc - this line seems to be VERY successful for its modest run. Even peg warmers sell through eventually....

It will be interesting how that works out, as Minimates is also releasing classic Star Trek figures and vehicles. While not the same thing as Kre-O, it will be interesting how they sell side by side.
