Because Mafex is smart enough to give their figures double jointed elbows lol. Imagine getting an exclusive daredevil figure and then you can't recreate dynamic poses. Such a shame lol.

You would think, but something tells me this has more to do with licensing than anything else. I know they have to make convention releases, movie figures, etc. But they should have teams for this....

Star Wars only. Both the red and blue standard versions are on sale for between 20 to 25 bucks. Although the price for the original blue was 124.99. But the most expensive one is at least 75 bucks....
