Have to go against the grain on this one, having seen this up close in Japan I was not very impressed with it. I much prefer the show accurate colors on my Macross toys.

I bought the Bird of Pray when I was in Japan, looks a lot better then the original in my opinion which is ok as I intend to keep one in bot and one in jet mode for display ^_^

The Big O has been my favorite anime since it first came out on DVD (never aired on TV in Canada) so this is awesome news. Finally a worthy Big O toy to call my own :D
