Ps when I went to Walmart, I found 1 Captain America figure on a fucking 4wheeler and nothing else.. no giant display, clip strip, end cap, or single peg of the figures to be seen not even up top in the overhead inventory. There's a GOD DAMN MINITURE 18WHEELER HOLDING 2 TONS OF TRANSFORMERS, AND YOU CAN'T HAVE 1 PEG OF FIGURES! I went to the guy working in the toy store and asked what the deal was and where they were, he said they do it to build up the hype and every day getting closer to the movie they start to stock more figures.. Have you ever heard of that?

I've heard of managers with no business being in charge of a business, but that takes the cake as one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard. Especially given that this isn't exactly an A-list movie, its' coming out in two weeks, and the figures are everywhere else.

12.99 isn't to bad personally. My comic shops charge 14.99 for MU.

I was informed by a coworker today that they actually do have a giant fucking end isle of cap figures down past the bikes, this retarded worker had no idea wtf was going on, and it's stupidity like that which makes me hate the damn store. Litterally a month or less ago I called in asking if they'd be getting any Captain America figures in, intime for the movie and all she could say was umm aww I doubt it, can't see it, didn't check a computer or nothing and this douche yesterday is worse... not only could I have gotten probably Red skull and crossbones but it would of cost me less then getting it from the comic shop. I also heard they have the deluxe trooper packs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I honestly feel us Canadians just get forgotten by Hasbro. If it is Star Wars, MU, Gi Joe, my little island [yes..MINE] may get the "new" waves 9-10 months AFTER its release. I did get lucky and find a few figures back when the Thor Wave was new, but something interesting gave them away that it was a packaging mistake. 90% of the Marvel Universe figures I buy from retail are quad-lingual. They have English, French, Spanish and something else. Now with a Bucky I got, it was all english with the cool card with info and a picture on the back. With the Canadian packaging, you get 2 different cards, on both sides has the info of the character and 2 of those info file sheets that are the same. Me finding Constrictor and that Bucky I feel was a mistake, because they had the proper American packaging. Again though, please correct me if any Canadians have found a Thanos wave [or later] with the classic Canadian Quad-Lingual writing on the file cards... I sure as hell haven't.

Never really paid attention to the language on the figures. I don't keep much left MOC unless it's rare, costs me a fortune, or I don't have proper room to display. I do feel ya though, on Canadian's being ripped. I used to collect a broad range of figures, but over the past couple years have been trying to focus souly on Marvel. My ultimate goal would be to complete MI,ML,MU. and go from there... but with the same peg warmers on the shelf it gets hard. I only have x amount of vending options, 1 comic shop refuses to order MU because he doesn't wanna get stuck with doubles/tripples of unsellable stuff. I personally don't have the $$ or credit card to use BBTS, I've been lucky to get a few breaks through collectors through here, ebay, kijiji.ca, usedpei.com etc. I try to buy local but it's getting hard and I hate wating and hoping to stumble across it because the longer the wait the more it costs you later. I am getting borderline out of space for my collection I need to upgrade my display case to a larger 1, but they ain't cheap. I plan to try and get the cap wave, more thor if wave 2/3 hit my way, and a few other local purchases then start saving for a nice cabinet, some apex stands and some bases for my MU figures. cheers man, and thanks for the support. Need me some plastic crack nom nom nom....

I'm thinking of scanning some of the MOC figures I have with the quad lingual packaging. I think I have a Thor or Luke Cage info cards somewhere to show too. I honestly just don't know anymore. I to have limit funds and usually try to find the best deal possible for a loose figure on ebay [scored a Dark Hawkeye for 5 bucks with shipping, now THAT'S a victory]. I really really really really appreciate fellow arkers for helping me, and others, expanding their figures collection. Honestly, I would go insane without you guys. It however does make me feel terrible that I cannot contribute in any way too because of the lack of new figures.

Eh, that's BS. This is you contributing now, regardless of whether you buy anything or not.

I don't own a single Hot Toys or Medicom figure, but I regularly post in those threads because I really appreciate the skill and artistry put into their products. I also haven't had any luck with new MU figures and I'm getting further and further behind. At some point, I may end up dropping the line altogether simply because I refuse to go the Ebay/comic store route when I should be finding them on the pegs.

What I was aiming for is hooking up fellow arkers with a figures that they are having a tough time finding or have missed out on with previous waves. I just feel that Hasbro does a terrible job getting their figure to the shelves these days.

Patience my fellow Canadians..

For the 1st time ever (in over 9 months and all the friggin endless and crazy store visits), I have finally come across an Archangel at my local Walmart! I've never seen him in my LCSs either.

I bought this and also Havok. Just WOW.

Now only if we could get Waves 11, 13, and 14, Galactus, Sentinel, and Gigantic Battles packs....but that's probably asking too much from Hasbro Canada.

I've seen him a few times. Got one for my best friend, my girlfriend, and 2 for me. Going to customize one into X-Force. Sadly no Death Variant.

I'd totally trade you a loose archangel for a loose death.

The Death variant sucks on ice- nice head but no wings! WTF?!? His wings are "retracted" into that odd backpack looking thing he sometimes has....

He only had that death mask for one issue anyway- he looks meaner with the face exposed and red eyes....particularly now that he's replaced Apoclypse!

I like the retracted wings. You can switch them around though, right? If not, just swap heads, good idea Tiberius!

I would also luv to have the death variant. This sucker is way highly priced everywhere. If anyone had one, i'd be open to trade or buy.

on another: patience got me the latest mu wave at target on sale at $6.99 a pop. Tru also has a sale for any two star wars, mu, iron man, gi joe, capt america and spiderman for $10.99. A great deal for all 3.75 figures and material for customizing.
