Ok, I'm a realist. I LOVE to speculate but I hate to be let down when my wildest geek/comic book collector/toy collector fanboy is let down. I have to surrender my rampant speculation for a more realistic approach about what Hasbro might do.

But we CAN still have fun with that.

I want to know what do you think will be shown at SDCC this year? We have NO word what so ever about this and it can either mean GREAT things or BORING things.

Be mindful of a couple of things when thinking about this
-New Masterwork set
-New comicbook packs
-Possibly new team pack
-Possibly a vehicle (they have hinted at the SHIELD car and the original Ghost Rider and his horse)

etc

Lets see who can get the closest with their predictions!

MU single card
-Ares
-Astonishing Wolfie (I'm really feeling this)
-Baron Zemo
-Professor X with Cerebro (they did hint at this in a Q and A last yr)

Masterwork:
-Fin Fang Foom with Iron Man

Vehicles:
-I think they will start off this trend but not in a big way. I think they will probably show us the Ghost Rider original...maybe maybe not on the SHIELD car

GB sets:
-No new ones..I think that will come up in NYCC considering their trend of doing this and the proximity of the packs that just came out

Comic Packs:
-Adam Worlock vs Thanos (they mentioned this at NYCC)

I'm WISHIING for these

Comic Mandarin
X-Force Phantomex (badass written all over this one)

I'm going to go with the following:

MW Sentinel
Cap/Red Skull 2-pack
Avengers 4-Pack (or Sif and the Warriors Three 4-pack)
Heimdall
Mighty Mugg of some sort

Anyway, pure speculation on my part. SDCC always seems to surprise me every year.

They're in the middle of promoting all of their Avengers based movies, so I'm sure there will be at least one Avengers figure, if not some sort of set.

These things would make me happy, though how big is FFF supposed to be? Would GB size make more sense?

I reckon they'll announce 'deluxe' Marvel Universe figures - standard 3.75" figure but with an accessory like Professor X's wheelchair or Ghost Rider's bike.

I also reckon we'll get a couple of new female characters from the X-23 mold such as Rogue, Psylocke and Elektra, though Emma Frost might be more likely given she's in the new film.

Some posibilities based on what they have to use mold-wise (MU single cards):
-War Machine of some kind. Surprised they haven't already
-Punisher Captain America (maybe)
-Captain Universe Spidey (ahahaha)

MU single cards that I desperately want them to do:
-Omega Red
-Legion
-Blackheart
-Pyro
-Beast of some kind. Astonishing preferably, but 90's style would be neat too.
-X-Man

Other ideas
-New X-Men Comic pack (Grant Morrison NXM, with appropriately dressed x-men. Wolverine, Cyclops, Emma Frost, Beast, Xorn, whoever they want really).
-Rob Liefield styled comic pack (bulky molds of Cable, Deadpool, Cannonball, anyone from his X-Force, for shits and giggles)

To be in 3.5" scale? About 30 feet tall. I held up a BAF Fin Fang Foom next to a MU Iron man and decided it looked waaaay too small (and I did not want to spend $50 on something too small).

Totally agree on the females! Mockingbird too! And SHIELD Agent Maria Hill- she's in the Avengers movie!

I'm hoping they make Professor X in a nice black suit with NO WHEELCHAIR and some clear blue "telepathic blast" you can pop onto his head. He could have his hands to his head like Cyclops has.

I'm hoping fora modern Ghost Rider figure- his new look is incredible! FAR better than his old 70's suit!

Frankly I'm still trying to finishing buying the SDCC stuff from last year... I bought the Thor figure, still have yet to shell out the $30 asking price my local guy wants for the Captain America and Spidey figures... to me these are investment type pieces. I want to open them, but I plan to leave them MOC. Despite 95 % of my collection being loose. Lately all the toys I've gotten recently I haven't opened, partly due to no shelfspace left in my cabinet and the other is longterm value. . . I would love to see an actual xmen box set jim lee style, and fill in our missing character lists, a movie avengers box set would be cool with thor, iron man, nick fury, black widow, war machine, hulk, add a pepper potts and jarvis and you have pure gold. ... shield vehicle/playset would be need, a thrown set for redskull/ loki/odin would be a nice touch.
