I will say this though; if you can't wait to get one and need something else too (to get free shipping) you probably should jump on this so you'll miss the inevitable $5-$10 TRU price hike.
I dont doubt your logic. But you have to remember, some parts of the nation Galactus never showed.

And even now, in areas that do have Galactus, what are the chances that Sentinels will not be stocked as fast so they can push Galactus faster.

All speculation but food for thought

I see a flaw in your logic. There is a bigger possibility of Sentinels not following Galactus's Footsteps. Simply put

Army Building.

Sentinel is perfect scale for MU AND ML, ltos of Hungry Rabid ML Fans, and MU Fans want more than 1, unlike galactus. Army Building is the Factor. I'm getting 2 myself.
And trust me on army building, seen people on Hisstank will what looks like thousands of cobra troopers. some will be buying like, 10 sentinels

I'm still going with the Galactus route. Too pricey to army build.

I went ahead and updated the first post because CMDSTORE Now has them in stock as well. Use this thread as the Official Retail Sentinel Listing thread

Yep I agree. Army building a figure that is 8 bucks as opposed to 55 bucks a pop is a lot easier than building an army of sentinels.

thats why I am getting only 2. I army build, but not by much, and 2 is good enough. if I take any photos when I start diorama stuff, Photoshop is awesome

TRU has had them for preorder for $50. I just got $5 towards any purchase at TRU with other coupons so $45 isn't bad. I will have to pay for shipping though which is better than HTS, I think.

That's seven Skrulls or AIM goons!
Or you can do like me and get the BAF ML Modok (perfect MU scale) and a bunch of AIM goons for an awesome display!

But a single Sentinel might be cool...three would be perfect (as they temd to operate in threes).
Where's my Nimrod figures, bitches!

Agreed jason. Baf modok looks good in scale with the aim soldiers.

I'm wondering what giant figure for next years comic con will be. I'm predicting master mold, fing fang foom, or watcher.

Well, it'd be impossible to beat the (Marvel Select) Watcher they already made- I have it and it's better than the MU Galactus.
Cheap too- usually $25 or so.
I'd give it my highest recommendation.

ML Foom was already at SDCC. That's the one I ordered off HTS a while back.

Okay, upon further research, I'm leaning towards the BAF sEntinel being the better sculpt- for greater articulation if nothing else.
The colors suck badly though- it looks dingy instead of high tech- a nice repaint would make it incredible, IMO.

I've for FF's head piece and a oval of wood from a crfts store- now I just have to remember to get some wood stain and maybe have a tony "Fin Fang Foom" plaque made for the ultimate in MU trophy!

I might give it a wash of black enamel- particularly the eyes- for that nice taxidermy look.

I saw the Marvel Select Mephisto for $20 online but his headsculpt really did not thrill me.

Looking at other Marvel toy lines, the best stuff I've found is the bases for the select figures which my LCS sells seperately (lots of great loose stuff at that store!) . The select Wolverine (I think) has an incredible smashed sentinel head as the base and I've got Wolvie, Peter, kurt and Ororo all on it in "Dont mess with us" poses. The Sentinel head looks perfectly in-scale with MU figs. (gotta take some pics for y'all)
The Thor Legends fig comes with a Storm Giant skull and another (smaller) skeleton to stand on- the modern Thor looks insanely badass on that!Check ebay for those bases- they are awesome.

The colors for the BAF Sentinel are MUCH better in person than in most pics I've seen.

Amazon did sell Galactus for $29.99 last December. I'm hoping for a repeat this holiday season.

If anyone is interested I have an SDCC Sentinel for $110 shipped.
