It looks good for translating that outfit to figure form, but SHF really needs to look into painting knee joints. They pretty much never do it, not that big a deal usually but it looks odd here when it's bent.

Looks cool but I'll pass. Already too much PO for 2020 already and this one doesn't have something that cool that would make me pay for a new Harley, especially having the first one.

Their Suicide Squad one was one of my favs, great face sculpt. This one is just as good. Not a huge fan of the look for anything other than this movie's scenes, but the face is on point.

Agree with everyone here, pretty good translation from screen to figure. Knee joints for sure need to get painted to match. And yea, not a particularly compelling look for the character or a figure, I'm fine with the Suicide Squad Harley from a few years back so will pass on this.

Yeah, I have to go with the general consensus in this thread so far...it's an astonishingly good screen-to-figure translation, but unfortunately Harley looks more like a gross juggalo meth-head now than ever. I really can't stand how she looks in the live-action movies and how far removed she is from the animated series design. I feel like I'm getting gonorrhea just by looking at her.

Yeah... it seems like they're done with Leto's Juggalo-Joker, so I would've loved it if they ditched that for Harley going forward. You can keep Margot Robbie in the role, just de-Juggalo Harley's look.

Yeah, the detail and likeness are great- like others have said, those knees... I don't get how companies can put a lot of effort in to the sculpt and details of some figures, especially collector-targeted, pricier ones, and then miss, or choose nto to correct, glaring things, like the non-sparkly knee joints, or mis-colored joint pieces on other figures (Hasbro likes to do that too often).

This looks good, and Margot did a fantastic job as Harley in Suicide Squad, but I really wish they'd keep SOME elements of Harley from the cartoon. I liked the wink/nod of the classic costume in Suicide Squad, but would have liked her to have some elements. Even if they were just subtle, like the X-Men having wolverine's stripes molded into the jacket. Just something. Like if she wore her red/black leotard but tore the sleeves off it or SOMETHING. But yeah, I'm not a fan of the hooker with a heart.

could it be the knees don't get the glitter paint because it chips easily in that area? Making the product feel cheaper than the non painted knees in the end?

its a fun piece, I can't decide if I buy or not

Surprised they don’t just use the gold plastic with glitter mixed in. Gives a sparkle and would do a good job. Can’t be too expensive, they use it for $2 fidget spinners.

I'm not too knowledgeable in this sort of field, but isn’t it cost-saving to mold as much plastic in the same color as possible? So this might be less of a thing about material cost itself, but expenditure in the factory.

@Topic: I don’t care about this design but the figure is great. They did a fantastic job and that's worth praising IMO.

the plastic is still paintable. put all the pants pieces and shoes on the gold-fleck plastic. paint the shoes, paint the pants. leave the knee joint plain flecked plastic. it still is shiny, just not "as shiny". Would be better than matte plastic against painted shiny plastic. Hell, you could put the whole figure on the same sprue, and paint the skin tones on fleck plastic too. Your figure falls off the shelf and scuffs her elbow, she's gold! Its a Fembot!
