I was hoping someone would make figures based on the new movie, did not imagine it would be Tamashii Nations. Buzz looks fantastic, and I'm happy to see so many accessories packed in.

The nature of the suit looking more robotic works for them but the joints look very good I have to say. I'm even tempted by the diecast ship.

But man, could you imagine a Zurg to go alongside this? That would be epic.

Mattel's making toys based on the movie. Or are you referring to high-end toys?

I'm totally digging the designs of the spaceships in the movie, I saw these Micro-Machine scaled spaceships at Walmart, was going to pick up the whole set but they scanned $20 each! Whoa! Going to have wait for clearance.

Those Mattel ships are something like $12 at Target.com. In store pricing might be a little higher, as I paid $14 in store.

The SHFiguarts Buzz does look really nice. The ship as well.

Huh. Thanks for the headsup. But Target only has 1 (XL-01). I saw the set of 6 at Walmart.

Mattel has a line of $22 marvel legends style articulated Lightyear movie figures. You'd never know because this site doesn't really cover mattel stuff besides He-Man.

Mattel figures are pretty good but this is other level, as usual.

The ship is AMAZING!

There are a lot of figures out there, sometimes too many, and there's like only one guy that handles all the news on this site, so a lot gets missed. But if you want to help, start a news thread about the figures and provide at least a link to some pictures.
