I'm pretty sure that's the case. I wouldn't expect much more from the more notable characters though, maybe aside from Maul, ROTS Yoda, ROTS Anakin, Dooku, AOTC/ROTS Obi Wan(swappable heads/hair), et al. I think Bandai will be OTC heavy but I could be wrong. It just seems that since Disney acquired Lucasfilm, they've distanced themselves from the prequels and have fully embraced the original trilogy. Not that I'm complaining.

Not sure the lightsaber should be bent, but it's a trifle and should be easy to straighten. If Maul's vestments are made of that flexible sheet rubber, I might pull the trigger. Look forward to more close-ups.

If there is a feeling of abandonment towards the prequels, it's more than likely not because Disney is trying to ignore it took place, but rather acknowledge that after the prequels and the Clone Wars series, there's not a whole lot more to tell about this time period. Ahsoka Tano making her grand appearance in Rebels in fact shows that Disney acknowledges and respects it. |

That seems like a good summary. I really like the sense of picking up favorite bits and looking forward.

I keep seeing this statement from several others, but I really would like to know what they are basing this off of, because I just don't see it. Maybe merchandise wise (because it is what sells,) but I really am not seeing it in other areas. The new movies are sequels to the original trilogy, and Rebels is a sequel to The Clone Wars, serving as a space filler, a hype machine, and a fresh jumping in point for new fans if you will for the lore and upcoming films.

Ahsoka Tano making her grand appearance in Rebels in fact shows that Disney acknowledges and respects it. Maybe it's subliminal messaging too, since Lucas was behind the prequels. So far it seems like Disney is largely moving away from his ideas. From what I read, they discarded his plot for EP VII and wrote one for themselves. What I loved most about the prequels were the designs. So it's cool that Maul is going to be in the Figuarts line. ROTS Anakin would be cool and Jango is a given when Boba is announced.

Darth Maul looks great, but I've already ordered Vader and Luke when I really shouldn't have, so I'll probably give this a pass.

So this Darth Maul will probably be around $60 to $70 as is the norm of these figures. The Black Series Darth Maul runs around $40 loose on Ebay and can be seen at around $80 or $90 if mint so for once Figuarts is actually around the same price (only because of Darth Maul's jacked up after market prices, but still).

Well I was basing it mostly on merchandise but also with media. Rebels could've had the V-Wing and rogue Jedi Starfighters but the vehicles and style hark back more to the original trilogy and Kenner line. Even with the new Marvel books it seems like OT is largely emphasized instead of PT.
