Wow another US release? Time to stop importing! As long as it's not another $50 accessory to make these over $100 figures.

Lol, good point. That seems to be the tactic now...we end up paying the same as an import.

So, if it's a Japan release, more than likely it's going to be more expensive for us here in the U.S. because of obvious reasons, but, if it's a U.S. release, it means that here in the USA, the figure should be cheaper and easier to find. The problem (or genius of them) is that with the upcoming IM Mark VI, it's a U.S. release but they included an extra accessory (a piece of the HOA) and they hiked up the price as if you were paying for an import. The doctor here, it says U.S. release but it has an extra accessory that nobody else is getting. For that, it's possible the fig would end up being at a higher price.

He's up on Amazon for pre-order now. $84.99 with an extra 7-piece flame accessory.

Looks pretty sweet! I like that the effects part can come all apart and it's not just a big block. This looks like a great release; I'm glad he's got two head sculpts. I wish the other releases like Hawkeye and Kylo Ren came with more than one.

That accessory is cool, but I'm pretty happy with the surprisingly nice Marvel Legends fig. And $85 would go a long way towards the Hot Toys version.
Odd that the spell effect is more movie accurate on the $20 fig. |
