According to the Fwoosh, this will be a Soul Web exclusive. Assuming this is accurate info, then most place won't carry it. However, BBTS usually sells Soul Web exclusives for around $120.

The figure looks cool but I don't want to jump through hoops to get it. Since this is the second 1989 Batman to go up for preorder this year, hopefully we'll see a Mafex version soon. I've been much happier with their figures lately than Figuarts.

It's up for preorder at Mykombini and Anime-Export. Have to pay up front, but not really any hoops to jump through:

Don't want to deal with the hassle so I'll just hope Medicom or McFarlane are also going to get a shot at it as well.

Never ordered from Mykombini. How is your track record with them?

Yeah, the likeness just isn't there in my opinion. Also, I know he wasn't super buff or anything in the suit, but would anyone complain if they added a millimeter or two to the diameter of his arms, just to make it look a little better?

Totally agree. If you go to the bandai site you can see a better look at the face and it just looks a bit off. I would post the link, but my post count is too low. Also, has a good description of this figure, but its in Japanese. P-bandai dot JP under S.H. Figuarts.

I have to think it's got to be some part of the licensing agreement. It could be stupid expensive or something else limiting it, could be WB for all we know.

Can you wait 3 years? That may be the best chance until the 100th anniversary of Batman or the 50th anniversary of the film.

Uhh... In 3 years it'll only be the 34th anniversary of the first Keaton Batman film

Given that the 30 year anniversary passed with just the Mezco going up for preorder, I doubt anyone puts much into anniversaries.

Body looks pretty good overall. The joints are hidden nicely in the lines of the suit. Cape looks nice for Figuarts. My only complaint is the head. Eyes are okay but the mouth plates look goofy. Also the cowl/head looks elongated.

It's a pass for me. Tired of exclusives and just $100 + I don't want to spend on another 89 Batman with no Joker. Sure it will be fin in hand, can't wait to see the photos and videos.

Exclusive? Lame. I guess the licensees don't like money. If I can't grab it on BBTS or EE or something, I'm not going through the hassle.

30th anniversary of Batman Returns. Released in 1992, so the 30th anniversary is in 2023.

Is it really that hard to create another account at a different site? There's plenty of good Japanese sites to order these from that take a few minutes to create an account and you'll get this thing for like $80-85 shipped. Like there's other stores other than BBTS and EE.

A lot of those sites require pay upfront and it's pretty reckless to be dropping money at a site without ever hearing of it first. There's also the time and effort involved to do research and even then, the concensus on wether a site is 'good' or 'bad' still could be unclear. So no, not quite as simple as just signing up and giving them money.

Yea, I’m not comfortable paying upfront for this from a site I never felt with located outside of the US. With things the way they are anything I order is now from e-tailers in the states. I won’t even do amazon now because they are not shipping non-priority items very fast if at all, with good reason. I had some items I won on eBay come from new jersey, took a while. The guy was scarred to go to the post office. Can’t say I blame him. I’m even being choosey on which states I order from. Of course being near buffalo, things are slow to me right now anyway.

I prefer to see if Bbts gets this. Anyone know if this is up at any of the usual sellers?
