Surely, the cost of each figure is a lot less, since they are basically the same - why not sell them at a lower price point than 63$ ? Even the new DBZ figures are a lot less than that and they are brand new molds (e.g. Whis, Beerus etc)....

Meh....
Everywhere except BBTS seem to be selling them for floating around $50, so unless that's specifically the only venue you're looking at, I don't know where $63 came from.

And yes, yes I would. Because when you wait almost 30 effing years for something, it's damn worth it. Let me continue to stress that literally zero figures released in the last three decades have come this close to looking like what's on the screen (even though they're not perfect still), and that is worth more to most fans (at least that I've read, and I agree with them) than uniqueness in body structure or color.

Everyone ? Amazon, BBTS and the official Bluefin Tamashii Nations website list the price around $63
S.H. Figuarts Leonardo "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"
Amazon.com: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Donatello "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Action Figure: Toys & Games

......

Anyway, its fine, I see where you are coming from. I just hate it when companies capitalize in such ways on our feelings as fans.

Idk I'm missing Donnie in the playmates classics. And Beebop.& Rocksteady of course. But I.only ever saw a rocksteady and it would of been lame by itself.

I have these preordered but in hopes I see great improvement from what they.showed. They are awesome & accurate looking they.just need NECA to do them right. I.think.instead I'm going for the movie 90s 1/4 scale turtles.

Looks great. I want. I hope others are real fans and are not all talk. Finally some awesome 90's turtles. I hope people buy also because we finally need the Shredder and Krang to be made.

I remember reading that Bandai had a poll during NYCC 2015, asking what characters people wanted the most to be released after the four turtles, hope they deliver!

same here.. i'm so excited for these things. that's awesome that they're including extra heads, i love the extra belts.. i love the milky has chained and non chained nunchucks. . they truly put the playmates versions to shame.

i'm really hoping that we get shredder, bebop, rocksteady, krang with his android body.. and beyond them, i wouldn't mind getting 90's movie turtles, plus shredder, and even super shredder.

i'm just so excited, but man, it's going to be a long wait to get them all and finally have them all together. the staggered release makes it easier to pay for them.. but i sort of wish i could get them all at once.

This is Shfiguarts as long as they have the license they will deliver. It may take 2 to 3 years but I wouldn't underestimate them.

And me too! Missing Donnie but have the others minus Rocksteady & Beebop, but I remember when Playmates gave us the pictures of their Shredder and Krang, Krang being a bit too small as I remember, and I completely agree it was utter and complete BULLSHIT that they told us they would give us shredder if we buy the turtles and Bbop/Rsteady, and then f 'd us! UGH I feel your pain. Same with missing Donnie too :/

If you buy only one of them, no problem. However, if you buy all of them (which most people will) then I feel I am getting ripped-off !

Granted they are following closely the cartoon, but it really would have been nice if the turtles had some variation in the build. Even in nature not all turtles are the same size !
And they dont even have a variation in the green color !

Really, I dont see much improvement over the Playmates Classic Collection, which cost at least 60% less and they are actually pretty good figures.....
There's huge improvement bro. For one thing these have die cast legs and feet for durability and weight for weighted down poses and such. Also these are way more accurate then playmates which looked nothing like the cartoon really

The price is due to the die cast I'm sure. Like the iron man figures cost more same reason

I know these things are truly bad ass. I love the fact they have full die cast Legs and feet plus I'm sure the articulation will be good, if not great. I hope the can look up but well.see

If we get proper 90s movie turtles in the line I'll be really happy. A thin peace of hope is to see the 2k3 and 2k12 turtles in this line too but still the movie turtles would be a welcomed addition to this line. If they can make several versions of Goku in the DBZ line then i don't think it's unreasonable to not get another turtles variant.
