That - does not look very good. If it’s getting us a Vader that finally has soft good robes and not just the cape I'll be happy though!

Figuarts is normally pretty good with headsculpts, what in hell happened to this one?

This is shockingly bad.

So bad that I think it's probably going to look very different when released.

Maybe I'm blind but I don't think it looks bad. I have seen issues with headsculpts that have beards always looking a little off.

Looks like Mel Gibson to me.

I beg to differ, none of their Star Wars figures look like the actors.

The most recent Boba Fett has some pretty awesome headsculpts. Darth Maul looked great, Han Solo did too. I'm not too invested in this line to remember more from the top of my head but they did have some winners in there.

Totally agree a few of the releases have been pretty great, and the figure itself is looking great. Just like Anakin this figure will get lots of 3rd party options for heads which *groan* is a bit annoying but they'll look great.

Padme definitely did. Looked better than the TBS one.

RotS Anakin's screaming face and RotS Obi-Wan's You Were The Chosen One faces definitely looked like the actors. Same with TLJ Rey's angry face.

But most have kinda bad likenesses. Like TLJ Chuck Norris Luke.

Don't know..
much about whether...
It looks like the "Wan"...
or not...

SH Could have made the head...
A "WWF" Demolition Masked head!!!

Then...
The Obi-Wan "bad head" sculpt..
would be solved!!! ;^)

Yes this was disappointing much like the series but I'll digress. SHF in the past had some great headsculpts, think for the most part all the original trilogy sculpts were excellent except for Luke (though the Mando Luke per CG looks pretty spot on). I agree with the other mentions of SHF's Star Wars figures. Been saying how disappointing the facesculpts have been since pandemic, started seeing more misses in 2019.

Most of the Obi-Wan headsculpts have been overall good. This one here looks like a mix of Hugo Weaving with a bit more hair and Chris Pine from WW84 with a beard.
