Looks like they exaggerated the movie design a bit.Gave it some bigger feet and a bit more elongated appearance. Not that that is a bad thing. The figure looks like a good one.

If you are saying you have already "found" this figure, I say you are mistaken. The SH Monsterarts Godzilla was literally just revealed today and won't be released for a few months. You may have found another Godzilla figure, but not this one.

The NECA 12 and 24" versions might be out, but definitely not this one. I would expect it soon though as this looks like a completed sample.

I do want to see how the NECA compares to this.

It comes out in Sept in Japan so Oct in the US.

As for the feet comment, I just saw the movie last night but they never really focused on his feet, so I cannot say if they are accurate or not.

Good! Somebody finally fixed the feet for me. The Japanese get it right while America fails again. Stupid America will never understand the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!". America has to screw with everything! It's amazing how much of a difference simply extending the toes makes. But that was too simple for the dumbasses in Hollywood to figure out.

Yeah, because the feet have always been a driving part of the Godzilla franchise.

I will get it and hide it behind a bookshelf to recreate most of the scenes from the new movie.

You must hide all of your Godzilla figures behind a bookshelf then.

the SH Monsterarts size is usually smaller than NECA, but SHM usually has better details

Seriously we made it accurate, this godzilla is 355 ft in height, and is correctly fitted to withstand the earths gravity

The NECA figure(s) look more film accurate, this is more of a hybrid between the 2014 Godzilla and the the 2000 Godzilla (when he fought Orga). The result is thinner with larger feet, I personally prefer NECA's take on this figure (really just because it's more film accurate) however I suppose if you don't like how the new movie design came out than this is an option.
Edit; also at over three times the price of the NECA figure and at same scale I think my wallet chose the NECA one before I did. From what I've read the 12" tall (24" long) Godzilla from NECA with sound is only around $50 (BBTS) so maybe hold off on pulling the trigger for this figure.

I like this one a lot for that very reason, but looking at the prices I would definitely choose the NECA Godzilla between these two.

Won't personally be getting either myself, though, because once I found the Jakks Pacific giant-sized Godzilla for less than $35 at K-Mart, I lost all interest in the little guys. Doesn't have as much articulation and is a bitch and a half to find room for, but DAMN does it look great with some detailed army men and military vehicles placed at his feet.

Yep, to no surprise, this puts the sculpt of NECA's toy to shame. NECA's is not terrible, but NECA's is like a Happy Meal toy compared to this guy. Easily going to be added to my collection when it comes out while I will then toss out my NECA one.

Uhhhhh...I happen to have the NECA figure and body wise, I can't tell a whole lot of difference. The top of the foot is a little flatter and the toes a little more defined, but I'd bet the first part helps with articulation and the second is because of better detailing. I don't see any of Godzilla 2000 in this guy.
