Man this wave is rather underwhelming. I do not like shangs outfit. Its really bland. The blue guy is got some custom potential and the lady in gray n black does too but sheesh. 24.99 seems way too much for hasbros latest offerings. Ill wait for the clearance....if these even hit shelves.

Have to admit--seeing Asian kids in the photos is pretty heartwarming, as I am Chinese and realize that kids of that ethnicity are not normally used in the ads. It's not something that bothered me growing up either, but nice to see now nonetheless.

Hope the movie is good and does well!

Also couldn't help noticing Shang Chi doesn't come with fists--but surely he punches people...

Having an affordable Tony Leung figure is actually kinda sweet, though the likeness is not quite there...

Now Disney just has to convince Andy Lau to play I donno... Fin Fang Foom or something, so we can finally be able to kitbash a mini Infernal Affairs display.

That Katy figure says Target exclusive. I guess the folks whining about those Clone Wars figures being a "scalper exclusive" got lost on the way here.

I hardly think the demand for Shang Chi figures will be anywhere near the demand for the Clone Wars figures, so the comparison is not there. However, just the same, no one will find Katy at retail. Because Target.

Call me cynical, but I think the primary reason they chose Asian kids for these promo shoots is to avoid being accused of cultural appropriation if they showed non-Asian kids playing with toys having an Asian theme.

I'm definitely down for the movie Legends figures, my collection could use some more highly articulated martial artists. Very interested in this movie, I like how little is known.

Saw these in Target already, but they're street dated for Sunday.

I have to admit, "We're not calling him the Mandarin" Mandarin actually looked kinda cool. Shame I couldn't buy him, as he was all that was left despite them being "unable to sell them".

2 days after they're available, they're still available for order online, including the Target Exclusive Katy at Target. I know it's an unfair comparison, as the demand for these are no where near GIJoe or Star Wars, but this is the way it should be!

BTW, 1/2 the stock of these at my local Target were sold before it opened Sunday morning, despite they're street dated Sunday. Typical! However, there's plenty online to order from, and 1/2 my order already shipped. I wish everything else Hasbro was this easy.
