This is the thread of all things Street Fighter. That is until the release of "The Street Fighter Thread Turbo" and " Super The Street Fighter Thread Turbo".

If you so desire, then yes. If you want to copy the list over, then go for it. If you want to start fresh, that's cool too.

Just a heads up, while Jazwares is making Mortal Kombat in both 6" and 4" scale, Street Fighter will only be in 4" scale.

You think they could also manage to sneak in Rolento, Sodom and Poison?

Should be able to. SOTA was able to release Sodom when they had the license. Sodom ruled!

Pre-orders up for the new Jazwares figures: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/m...&category=7542

I'm all about the classic figures - Ryu, Sagat, Ken and Blanka look like a good start to the series for me!

Wow, No Guile or Chun-Li?

Ah well, I have to agree, this is a pretty good start for this series. I hope pics leak out for them soon.

Personally, I'd swap out Blanka for Guile, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with the list so far, too. I just hope the line is successful to at least get through the original 12 from the first SFII. Anything beyond that for me is gravy.

I was a huge Street Fighter fan back in the day. Even had SF2 arcade game in my house. I've been looking at those SOTA figures that are pretty cool. Any others that are affordable and also detailed that I should be looking at?

NECA 7" SFIV. The most detailed will be the upcoming Play Arts Kai figures by Square.

Affordable and Street Fighter are two terms that don't go together unfortunately.

Yeah, it's more of an either-or thing. Either you get (presumed) affordability with JazWares and simplified details or you get amazing detail like Play Arts Kai.

I think Shin's probably given the best compromise between the two with the NECA figures. But again, YMMV in regards to the price being "affordable".

We'll also know more about what JazWares has to offer once actual pics start to surface.

I was actually refering to looking for that older SOTA SF stuff. That can go for a pretty penny.

Actually I think it's safe to assume that the Jazwares Mega Man, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat lines will be very detailed and cater to us. Very different management this time around compared to over 5 years ago. Crossing my fingers.

Joe seemed very adamant about making these new lines as great as possible. I hope his enthusiasm is shared across the company.

Should be, he's in a high enough position to make it happen. Also they have to please Warner, and Capcom. I think game companies are stricter on figure licenses now, since figure quality has jumped pretty high since SOTA came(and then left) the scene.

Yeah I agree. Those new Crysis figures are pretty sick for a newer company.
