For anyone who is interested:

The JL figures that were mentioned a while ago are now available for preorder at the following link if you have a DCU subscription: https://shop.dcuniverse.com/

$28 a pop, or ~$200 for the entire set of 8.

I was hoping to get them all, but cannot justify spending that much on these figures, especially with some of the questionable design choices (super top heavy GL, giraffe necked hawk girl). Picked up MM and the Flash though

Yeah Flash is the only one that interest me. I might pick up Wonder Woman when I get paid

I'm happy the app finally launched. There's a bunch of cool stuff on it. I'll probably pass on the JL figures, though, since I didn't get the Batman animated line, either.

The good thing is that they are releasing them all in the span of 2 months at least rather than dragging them out. Although I agree with you. I would have bought the 7 (not aquaman) core character for $125 or so, but this is way tok expensive, especially with their ridiculous shipping prices.

Eh. I don't know.
I really want some of those, but being from France, I can't subscribe anyways.
Guess I'll check how much they go for on eBay, but I'm not too hopeful...

Would have thought that since they are forcing the subscription on you, they would have charged a more modest price per figure.
Well... no thanks.

Wow full blown retail for barebones releases that seemingly don't even have stands let alone important accessories like Hawkgirls mace.

There's no soul in these Animated figures from DC Collectibles, they feel and look like cookie cutter templates with just some minor sculpt tweaks baking hard on the nostalgia of fans who love these series.

I bought into the Batman stuff for awhile but it's just so damn unexciting. Now they are trying to give you basically nothing for full retail plus ridiculous shipping and having to join a subscription?

I don't know about anyone else but if the Animated figures were more around the style of DCUC adding reallisim to these cartoon designs I'd be all over them. I love the Bruce Timm artwork but it makes for a shitty figure.

DC has more than lost my interest.

I’ve found a first look for most of the JL figures. I was originally thinking about picking up Batman, Hawkgirl, and Flash since they were my favorites on the show but I don’t see that happening now. Maybe DC will have these marked down for Black Friday or I’ll find them for below retail on ebay in a few months.

These figures look no better than the one's Mattel did a few years ago, I can't express any true interest in any of these because of the way they look. going to be a blast keeping these on a shelf without their horrible top-heavy upper bodies knocking them over or off risking them breaking. and another lame-ass Subscription??? hasn't toy companies learned their lesson on what Mattel did with the poor Subscription with their MOTUC line. looks like another shake N' Bake cash Grab from Diamond select, I'll pass.

I think this will come like all the other Justice League sets they have done with them all being in the same package. None of the sets that were released like that had many accessories. I'll check them out if I can.

I disagree with a realistic take being better. I think the problem is that the sculpts don't follow Timm's designs to a tee. That and the incredibly limited articulation resulting in strange poses despite the number of joints they have. These could have been awesome if they gave them the figuarts treatment with regards to articulation and kept the aesthetic the same. It's a shame.

IIRC, the box set description confirms that it is just the separate boxes shipped together,

From what I can tell from a review on Forbes, the figure now comes with two fists...which means multiple hands and who knows what else were sculpted but not included because FU.

I bet we'll see Deluxe Editions loaded with accessories (but at some insane $55 price point) in the very near future...

One isolated screenshot doesn’t mean anything- check out the character model sheet- although he had a heroic looking chest is wasn’t as big. They went with something more in line with the 3D character model seen in the intro to the first couple of seasons. Although I do have fond memories of the show, I am not willing to throw down $30 a figure for a less than stellar attempt

See im in the same boat I absolutely love BTAS and JLU the entire DCAU as a whole. Only thing im dissatisfied with is the lack of accessories on some of the figures and them being exclusive to members. Plus the price is kinda outrageous imo Because i want the whole team to go with my Dc Collectibles batman animated series figures. Long story short im just too cheap/broke to get these so ima complain hahaha

The price point is far too high for what you get. At the very least there should be some accessories. Green Lantern should have an alternate head from later season, Hawk Girl should have a mace, Wonder Woman a lasso. I mean, just some basic stuff for the amount of money. Especially Hawk Girl. The character is never seen without the damn mace.

Poor John Stewart still has a pin-head. What witch doctor working at DC Collectibles thought that was cool? I notice it a lot with the animated lines, they let some questionable looking things pass.

These are basically the original Justice League figures with the added articulation.

Yeah kinda a dick move. Especially since i actually want them. And im kinda same as i always buy waves or collections of my toys/want the whole set.

I am curious how long we have to order them, if they sell out, and why i try to click on the icon they tell tou is the membership but it keeps sending the box away.

*Ugh reminds me of Mattel im still mad at them for screwing up my Voltron order and only getting me Red Lion. I even pre paid my card 7 months early, & emailed them getting their permission that the card was a dummy card, and they didn't update like they agreed to & they didnt have a phone number then to talk to them.
